    Play him as a left winger or striker. Schlupp is only good as a defender against weak and inexperienced teams. Otherwise, use him as a striker or leftwinger. He is full of strength and energy and vim so put that to good use

    I think the reason he has been used as a defender is because he lacks the kind of ball skills you need up front. He has good energy and makes good passes. Maybe he could be a striker.
