Yaw, It is useless to think of suicide. It solves nothing. It is like a drunkard who says because of his troubles he must take 3 shots to forget about his troubles only to find that after the alcohol wares away the problem remains.

Yaw, what you need to do is:

(a) commit yourself to Christ. Let Christ be your family and friend.

(b) Cut off from those causing you trouble. In other words, keep your social distance. Let you wife and children be your joy.

(c) Think no evil about anyone. No thought of retaliation. If you hold any evil thoughts, what ever they do will get to you.

(d) Becareful of what and where you eat and socialise. Don't play in your enemies court. If the enemy invites you for dinner you need a long spoon; in other words, keep your distance.

(e) What is taken or destroyed is gone, let it go. These are material things. Focus on building your life because of your wife and children.

(f) Do what you like to do best. Do not listen to ill advice. This is the time people including some silly so-called men of God who will be calling you and telling you all sorts of nonsense in the name of God. Read the bible for yourself and ask the Holy Spirit to interpret it to you if you do not understand it.

(g) Don't listen to anyone. You have said enough in your memoirs, that is enough. Proverbs 29:11says: A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards. This is good counsel. Listen, the more you talk, the devil becomes happy and plots negative idea into your head. Remember , the devil does not know your mind until you speak out. Your enemies will rejoice/gloat over your predicament because that is all they aspire to. Don't give them that chance.

(h) If anyone holds a knife at your throat let him face the law. This is why we have laws.
Know that 'You are in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves' - Matt 10: 16.

(i) You have everything to gain and nothing to loose if only you seek God's wisdom other than your own.

I have read much of Adebayo's story and it disgusts me to read some of the bad comments on here. His situation is not new and i must say many Africans are going through similar situation.

As a young child, i was told i would never make it in life from someone who was supposed to love and nurture me. My elder and younger siblings were sent to some of the top Ghanaian High Schools while i went attended saito. When i had the opportunity to travel, all i wanted was some money for fare, and i knew my parents could afford it. Instead, i was told travelling is not by force and that if i wanted to travel, i should do that by myself. I was told that if i made money, i should keep my money hmmmm. I travels by road to Togo but things did not work out, to Benin and never worked out. I finally went to Nigeria. Calabar aera and things started improving but had to move to Aba in Abia State. There, I met Uche Jonah (Uche Jonah 16 Onoaha street Aba. Please get in touch if you are reading this) who took me in and helped me for almost a year. I paid no rent and was fed like a champ. I went to other African countries and it did not work out. I even went to some of the gulf countries and nothing worked out. In one of the gulf countries, i took one of my brothers with me.I was the one that paid his fare, food, accommodation and all that he wanted but when he got a job, he told me to literally go fuck off. I came to Ghana wanting help but again, my own people refused to help me.

A friend brought money and we ended up travelling to Asia. There, i had ashawo as my girlfriend just to survive. God blessed me and i traveled to a better and this is where it all started. I have so far given my family over US$90,000 and they still want more. I wanted to help some of my siblings travel but they claimed it was all suffering overseas so they will not go. Instead, they chose to sell on the streets of Accra and do some farming. I introduced my white friend to my sister rand she lied to this guy about me being a sibling. I offered to set her up to do business and she refused. All my other siblings keep asking for more money all the time and they think i pull it from my ass. Sometimes, i wish i can get to Ghana and shoot them all. I am angry at what my family has put me through and still want more. My mother want me to not sell 2 of my houses even though i have built them a house. She claims if i sell all of them, it would be a disappointment as they will get no property from me when i die because all my properties are overseas.

Some African families are shit and they can drive you to your grave before your time. Like Adebayo, i have sometimes considered taking my life because of the pressure. I sometimes ask myself whether it is good to have money or non at all.

Throughout your own struggles God blessed you and put you up on a higher pedestal for a reason; you deserve it. Do what you can for your family and do not expect them to appreciate it or even show gratitude and move on with your life and keep on keeping on. Don't follow them to their pathetic level and kill yourself. That will be a shame. Focus on your life, your own nuclear family if you have one and don't fret on their complaints. All the best pal. hi ade, forget about this family affair. My six younger sisters have got 15 children in total. I have looked after these sisters, some to attend secondary school, some of their children to also go to secondary school and moving on to nursing training, paying for some of them to learn certain trades, paying rents and providing pocket money.Ade, do you know what, most of them hate me know, because they feel i am doing more to others than them. They feel it is my responsibility to look after their 15 fatherless children.
