This is exactly how we treat our heroes! Ghana is never worth sacrificing for - Muntari stood up for what was right and rather unfortunate he had to resort to fighting.
What has happened to the corrupt officials he was fighting and was their presence in Brazil necessary?
Muntari earns much more than he was fighting for on behalf of the team but it was the principle and lack of appreciation for our heroes that triggered his anger.
We mistake self confidence as arrogance.

Francis. Have you ever left Ghana? If so, have you worked in any capacity outside of being a taxi driver in europe/US? Only in Ghana can you reward violence. FIFA is one of the most corrupt organizations in the world. How often do people slap Sep Blatter? Muntari could have taken his greviences to social media or the Ghana media after the world cup. What he ended up doing embarrased the whole country. He didn't achieve anything by acting in such a barbaric manner.

There can be no justification for any criminal act. Otherwise, even armed robbers can exonerate themselves by claiminng the ills and injustice in society are the reason for their act. In a law-and-order society, whoever perceives something wrong does not have the right to take the law into his own hands and punish whoever he/she considers in error. Sulley Muntari was lucky for not facing the law for assaulting an official. The fact that he had done so much for the nation makes no difference because the law is no respecter of persons.

Even if Sulley was right his actions against the GFA official must be condemned because there are channels he could have seek redress. I think Sulley is arrogant he feels he is rich and therefore can react in any way against anybody.People shouldn't use corruption as a reason to misbehave against the right of another person. The GFA official is an employee to serve the players just as Sulley is employed to play for the Black Stars for pay even though it appears is a national duty. We should respect everyone's right. For corruption we all are corrupt one way or the other this is not to say I accept corruption as a necessary evil. We all have our faults when we are wrong to apologise and move on, Sulley Muntari is not an exceptional.

Besides Sule spoke for the silent few, otherwise how many were the players and how much money was sent to Brazil if it was only the players making demands, they re 23 players and so only the players should ve been paid for us to believe that all other members were OK with whatever agreement before the agitation.
