Atsu must play the 8 or backup 10. Play jordan on the right wing. We also need to see 2/3 u20 players in bstar friendlies to give them confidence before the wcup tournament. I'm advocating for 5player local league quota for bstar. When you Grant were isreali coach. You picked local players to the national team. Why won't.you do the same in Ghana? Have you become a blood sucking, bribe collecting vampire like nyantakyi?

I would rather drop Braimah,Accam,Rabiu,Salifu,Gyimah and Jordan. Jordan is not a bad player but the Black stars will continue to lose because of his selfish play. I have been saying this since 2010.

You don't know anything....Why don't you play kwarasay as striker and see what happens? Jordan likes to run with thebball. He has always been a winger. Why is he now used in the pocket and not the wings? Square pegs in round holes. Atsu can hold the ball and dribbles, make accurate passes. So let him play as an 8 or sub 10. You tawiah and grant don't have any common sense. You want to drop salifu and gyimah? Why? They play in competitive leagues regularly. Unlike braimah, accam, rabiu, fatau, badu and appiah. Who are either warming benches, play in less quality leagues or simply suck!

I want Salifu to be replaced by Duncan because Ghana has too many short players. I agree with you on Braimah, Accam and Rabiu but not Badu and Appiah. Appiah should be with Gyan and Yiadom for now and I hope Yiadom does not bring back his temper tantrums.

you want duncan to replace salifu? what did duncan do at the u20 wcup tournament? tweaaa! thi is not about height but strictly about ability. duncan was used as a defender, midfielder and he wasnt doing well. that paved the way for salifu. as rugged as he is. he does deliver! tweaa...gyan, yiadom, assifuah are all better 9 that appiah! fyi: just becos you stay on the bench for bstar dont mean you suck. we need 2 sets of starters. i will take gyimah becos he can play defensive midfield and defence. teh guy has height and strong also. i like badu as the 2nd or 3rd option as a 6. so far, him and rabiu havent impressed me with both club and national team assignments so they must be excused for salifu and others to also show what they can do.

Ghana needs a blend of tall and strong players to compliment the short ones. In this regard, you cannot ignore players like Gideon Baah etc who are technically gifted and also well built. I hope the coach and his charges are listening.

Jordan will have to either be cut or regulated to the bench. I like Jordan but I have this feeling that he might be one of these "in between" players. He is not quite a forward but he is not a midfielder either.

Sorry, Braimah is taller than Adams, infact he is the tallest of all Ghana goalies. The problem is he doesn't time balls. Adams, on the other hand is very jittery in goal. Adams is only better when it comes to penalties.

Coach Avram Grant has made a point here. If Ghana fared well without Asamoah Gyan, then it's time to begin finding a potent substitute because Gyan will soon retire from football--he's now 28yrs old. That's life's reality. He ... read full comment

Coach A. Grant should took for a skillful player who could make a difference in our attack. We can't continue to experiment with players who don't know when to give a clever pass when we're in attack; a player who can read the game and link up well his team of attackers. Some of our players have a very long way to go, judging by how many times they've had to squander begging goal-scoring chances either by not knowing when, where and who to lay on a perfect pass. To such players, they believe it's their right to give away good chances and don't seem to give a damn. Such attitude is what's helping us lose in many games.
Our defence and mid-field should all bear the blame! Talk about our defenders who'd look on helplessly when a pass is laid across, in front of them (our defenders) and right within their reach, but they do nothing to slide or stretch themselves to volley the ball away or clear their territories. The second goal that was scored by Senegal went through the territory of three defenders before it found it's targetman who cleverly placed the ball were it should be.
Our mid-field also is porous; they cannot initiate any goal-scoring moves or connect our passes; they always fail to feed clever balls mid-stream and up-stream. In term of modern football, Ghana lacks in may aspects of the scientific game. This is a fact that we have to accept. Our players are used to playing stocmach football and that's pathetic! Without the art of possessive football, we'll be toiling for nothing. We have to learn to master it--that's been our style of play for generations anyway!
The least said about our goal-keeping the better it would be. So I refrain from causing Ghanaians any sort of pain by keeping my mouth shut! Coach Grant knows better than me, so I better leave the rest for him to decide.
I've tried to express my opinion or views about our Black Stars and the way I feel by posting the same article on various topics that differ in theme about our team. This is just one of them. I hope I'm not being a nuisance, if I am, please forgive me folks.
