The egocentricity of that Cameroonian by the name Issa Hayatou is what is killing Afcon. Issa Hayatou has being in power since 1988 and he want to die there. Everyone with common sense knows that playing the Afcon in June would be great for Africa higher TV viewership and more money. This would also eliminate club and country issues but this egocentric Issa Hayatou would have nothing to do with it.

What is the viewership of Afcon in January / February window? You have to use common and business sense. Fools like you are the first ones running to seek aid from the Whiteman.

So they want to postpone the AFCON to June just to please FIFA. That means if the host country is not from North Africa, we would be playing the games in the rains. They are concerned about the weather conditions for the World Cup but not that of AFCON. The dry season for AFCON tournaments were not chosen for nothing. Is FIFA telling Africans that our weather conditions don't matter?

Mr. Tawiah I understand where you are coming from but the truth is 90% of African players that showed up and played in Afcon are playing in Europe. If you are playing in England you played almost 80% of your matches in rain and snow, having said that Jan/Feb time slot was not good for business no TV right most people who would have paid and watch the games are outside Africa. If we cannot play the Afcon in the rain than only North Africa and South Africa can host the world cup. I am not a fun of Fifa mediocre with yesterday people in charge FIFA made a mistake with 2022 world cup hosting and never had the balls to fix it. The call for Afcon moving as gone on for many years the Jan/Feb time period was great when we had 95% of our best players playing in Africa currently we have 99% of our players playing outside Africa and you do not want to put a player is a situation where he has to make choice between country and club.
