We could have easily won this cup but for inexplicable lack of substitution at the right time. Appiah and Gyan should have been substituted by the 60th minute and we would not be having this conversation. Period.

You are correct about the substitution. Grant waited too long. Gyan was not 100% and this particular game was too big for Appiah.

I don't understand why we only blame what we cannot do and forget how strongly someone did to outclass us.credit must be due where it is needed.In 2013,we blamed Asamoah Gyan's penalty against Zambia to the point that fans wanted to burn his dads house.in fact Gyan took that spot perfectly but Zambians keeper did his best.Now Razak did his best but the power that were behind Ivorians kicks were such that Razak can't do anything about it even after seeing the players direction. anyone who doubts me must go back and watch what iam saying.previously,la cote d'Ivoire has missed two finals with this same penalty shoot outs so they really worked on it this time.Braimah can't be blamed.Ivorians gave us the cup by missing their first two spots kicks.we told them we were not too fit for that glory do we gave back to them.In 2009,the under 20 did same but the Brazilians said,there too shy and not fit for it so we took it back

We just need to keep this bunch together and next AFCON I'm sure they will bring the trophy home. one thing I am disappointed about is Asamoah Gyan leaving the game before the PK, he should have challenge the coach to stay on (he is the Captain and you don't abandon ship before your crew).

Now is the time to bring the three musketeers,Sulley,Kevin,Essien.They are all doing well in their clubs.Everyone knows Sulley plays Trent.We all have Trent children,do we abandon them.?We continue to talk to them.That is it.Children of this age challenge their parents.A good Parent will listen to them,at the right time,give them the right counseling.We were too wasteful upfront due to immaturity.Some of us Ghanaans hate some players,I do not know whether for their wealth.We should also try not to make politics of winning bonuses,as they distract the players attention.

There has been too many players coming in and out of the black stars which to me,is not helping.I share Armah Senegal view but iam also on other side that the experience players should have been blended before the tournament and not now that the young lads need to build on their own experiences after tasting the senior team for the first time.i was thinking that after Angola 2010 or before,players like Opoku Agyemang,Abeyie,and a lot more would have been maintained in the black stars.in fact inclusion of Amartey,Baba Abdul to the defense did well but since the likes of John Mensah,sarpei and co are not in the team,at least the likes of John paintsil etc who are still in the African terrain should have been mingled or blended with the young lads.At this time, since we couldn't do that,I think its late so these crop of players be maintained.They need time to develop and gain experience.i don't think it be that long time though.Their next tournament would be fine.The likes of Accam,Acheampong,Amartey,Baba,Awal all should be maintained.Most of them like the Accam,etc did not get enough play time but upon the training,camping,instructions and experience tasted,the next tournament won't be difficult for them.it would be dangerous if any of these young ones is dropped.
