Playing time should be merited and based on how well one plays during training sections but not on the assumed potential of a player. 3. No player should be allowed to be "F"...ing around once the are invited to camp. Players lose vital energy when they fool around or have sex just before camping or while in camp. 4. If Nyantatyi is the problem for GFA why keep him ? The players need our prayers and support no matter the outcome.5. Ghana needs 2 teams: The Republicans and the Black Stars. The players have to justify their inclusion whether old new. First team under one local coach, and the second team under a foreign coach. Osei: I agree with you to an extent. I do not think Jordan is top class however we have to acknowledge that with time and maturity he will get better. Let us be frank..... he sometimes creates chances. He created a chance that Atsu should have put in the back of the net, and also that chance in the world cup against Germany where he decided to be selfish, but at least he is creating the chances. Left to me alone I will not field him, but if the mumu coaches insist on fielding him because they are scared of his dad, then let us hope he improves.

Many factors are working against the team's success in EG. 1. The coach is new. 2. The team can not boast of many talented and experienced players. 3. The GFA meddling in team selection by closing the door to some specific players the coach intended to use was mis-conceived. What they did not pre-conceive was that by their action they were setting the coach up for failure on his very first assignment. With a new team coach this should have been a new beginning for the team. This means re- starting on a clean slate, opening closed doors to all suspended players and new young talented players. 4. Inadequate preparation time for the team before the tournament.
There's the need to quickly forget about this tournament, set our divided house in order and focus on long term team re-building efforts and doing more player scouting and evaluation. All we've been doing so far is putting band aid on a mortal wound.

This implies that the zeal which players outside Ghana deploy on the pitch when playing for the country has been waning over the years. No single foreign based player and I say it again... No single foreign based player is playing for the BS presently because they want to win a cup!!!! Can't we see it?
The way forward is to nurture players who are both hungry for recognition and juicy contracts using the BS. These breed of players are the premier league players. We should desist from allowing the expensive coaches that we employ to just sit back and when a tournament is nigh trek to Europe to pick players who are thought to be "in form". The coach should be in Ghana and use that time to scout for talent in Ghana and build the BS from that premise. A couple of the foreign based can be fused. This is the ONLY way we can impact the African soccer terrain. This rubbish of gathering players from overseas for a couple of weeks to a tournament and romance thoughts of winning a cup is a fleeting desire. If Grant is a coach worth his sort and pay, he should build/pool a local BS talent and mix with a couple of the locals. They should be made to work for the salaries they collect and not blame defeat on the heights of our opponents and length of green grass... don't our local players play on worse pitches? Won't they have adapted better? Isn't the local league more physical... wont the players selected from it be more robust? AAAAAH BA!!!
