With the exception of one or two new faces, Coach Grant's selection is no different from what we had for the Black Stars before he came. They are the same guys who were useless before the Ugandans. With Kojo Asamoah out, and uncertainty surrounding Wakasso (with this big cut in his face), I think the coach should have been given the free hand to call our so-called three rebels; (Muntari,Essian and K.P.B). Our GFA say, the boys erred in Brazil, for exposing official corruption and mismanagement, and so should appologise; which they've not done yet. But, sometimes, it pays to place the national interests over and above our parrochial interests and personal embitterment against these guys. Honestly, we need them now more than ever if the Black Stars are going make any meaningful impact in Equatorial Guinea. They have the experience, and their inclusion would definitely make a difference in this tornament. Bring back our boys to serve their nation.

Winning games goes beyond having a good coach but the know-how and when to use it. Guys like AA is not bad......but he lacks the experience to make the right decisons.

Yes, Grant may be a good coach but with all the interruptions and bottlenecks in Ghana, no coach can achieve whatever he initially sets up to achieve. We all know that once you set up to work for Ghana, a noose will be hanged around your neck. It will only be by sheer luck that Ghana will win this AFCON because we always prefer "Try your luck" as compared to the real thing. You all witnessed what happened when Kwasi Appiah was forced to do the right thing for the first in his life as a coach by selecting the best players against Germany in Brasil.

Maxwell Konadu should stop the self flattery he's engaged in, who are the "Ghana's best" he is refering to who are not in the provisional squad. A lot of those in the provisional squad are themselves average players in their various clubs abroad and, those enjoying regular playing times are in very obscure clubs in certain remote European countries. A Senegalese player Bo, who played for New Castle and Chelsea and doing well in his current club in Turkey has been dropped from the Senegal squad. Bo will walk into the Black Stars team anyday, except very few exceptions in the current Black Stars players; Bo will be a top ranked player if he were a Ghanaian and so, Konadu should stop the self deceptive gimmick and be frank with himself the Black Stars have no any star performers anywhere left not in this provisional squad released by Avram Grant.

What the GFA is doing to the new coach amounts to setting him up for failure but how can we blame the coach should he fail to deliver? Please allow the coach to invite who he will and allow him to build his team without the GFA's imposition.
