Until they bring a Ghanaian or African to run the team,I'll never watch a black stars game EVER!
Blackstars with white coach,how stupid.

I never supported the Appiah appoint as Black Star coach because I felt he had little or no experience as his own man in the international arena and thus he often could not recognize the changes be initiated by his opponents simply because he was not familiar with the subtle ebb and flow of the modern game as he had no experience.
All the best to Appiah in his Sudan assignment. I will be one of those rooting for him.

One of the finest gentleman in the football fraternity of our time. I remember how fans hurled insults at him at the then Kumasi Stadium in the early 90s for his humility and gentleness as a sniper of the team. If it were this area, Kwesi Appiah would have played in Europe to far far higher level in Europe than most of these present day lazy and arrogant Black Stars. But this is someone whom people who knows nothing about football other than to watch matches hated, vilified and inflicted such a bad dent on his hard won image. May the Almighty continue to give him wisdom and strength to live high life.

Looking back: "Avram is from Isreal and any nation that aligns with Israel will be blessed: so let's have him!" "No, no! Having him would put our boys in harm's way because being an ISRAELITE (?!?), he's an easy target for suicide bombers!" "He's a bullet dodger!" "He's never won any trophy!" AND THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS "He's going to sodomize our boys, google gay in Israel" (GHFUO). Hoooly shiiiiit!!! Hey, if I were this coach's adviser, I would insist he forgets about this job and looks elsewhere. We will skin him alive if we ever lose a single match. He hasn't even started his job!! Self made soccer experts have already come out with their selections. "Woe betides him if his selection differs from mine!" "No Muntari and co!" "He MUST call them!" (THE DEVIL'S ALTERNATIVE). "Give him Afcon 2015 to win!!" "Winning 2015 unrealistic" (GFA). "Avram not to win AFCON is a recipe for disaster"(Tamakloe). Another DEVIL'S ALTERNATIVE. This coach is in BIG, BIG SHIT! Awurade Nyankopon!! Avram, your cross is far, far heavier than Christ's. Drop it and get the fucking hell outta here!

If you people do not want you someone does, and that is what has happened to Kwasi Appiah. Thank God for your new job. GFA will regret offering the coaching position to a white man for $200,000.00 signing fee and $50,000.00 monthly, a job which a black man from Ghana could have done with less money. How many of these white coaches have won the African cup for us. Even the caretaker coach Maxwell Konadu will do well than this Israeli since he Konadu knows more about the players than this present appointed coach. An African does not want his fellow African to succeed hence the position was given to a white man instead of a local black man. GFA will learn to regret. Kwesi God bless you and it is the same God who will "eat your case for you".

That is what happens when u listen to others before making your own decision. I know Dr.Appiah personally even before he enplaned to England to pursue his degree in football administration. This gentleman of a guy, does not only have the fear of the Almighty God in him but also happens to be the coolest and finest individual I have ever come across aside my father.
The truth of the matter is, if this humble man hadn't been a coach, possible he would have been a pastor which I prophecy he would be after his coaching career.
Every body in Ghana, knew that coach Appiah wasn't given that freedom to do the job he willfully wanted to do. The GFA did not only fill players who have given them money to field them but also controlled almost every thing this man wanted to achieve for his country.
My prayer is, the good Lord, should guide and guard him and his would-be assistant to bring that glory that eluded him on his journey with the Black Stars.
Akwasi my prayers are with you. Please be strong and be the leader. Add a local assistant who may ease your transition
