At this point, if you look at this situation objectively, you can see that Appiah was a mere scapegoat and he actually should have been kept around for AFCON 2015. I think we all know that. Change for the sake of change is not always the best.

There is a lot of hoopla about this guy Avram Grant. Ghanaians are heeping all kinds of accolades on him. He has coached Chelsea, West Ham and so on and so forth.
But I want to sound a note of caution to all. He may not be as good a manager as people claim.
I say this because the guy doesn't have any good record we can point to. Let's not forget that he was fired from Chelsea. At West Ham de didn't do a thing and he had to resign when the team was relegated.
He may have been with these giant clubs alright. However, being with a king doesn't make anyone a king.
Let all Ghana watch out. He carries a big stick but he may be incapable of using it to protect himself or kill the enemy.

As much as I would like this Grant guy to head the National team, if GFA negatively beliefs that he can not win the AFCON 2015, then why not keep care taker Konadu to win it then hire Grant?
