That certainly says a lot about the GFA's appointment of someone really unknown outside Ghana, no foreign coaching experience, etc. Were Ghanaians surprised that respect is very fundamental for players to listen to their coach! The coach must be respected given his coaching history. The lack of it, shows up in the debacle in Brazil 2014. Welcome to Ghana and wish you all the best. Cheers!!!!

Is it strange that Ghanaians are praising the appointment of Avram Grant as the national football coach? We are filled with the neo-colonialist mentality of seeing anything foreign better than anything local.Just look at Spain and England whose teams performed badly at the world cup and yet have maintained their coaches who are Spanish and English.When are we going to be proud of our own and support them to succeed? With such a backward mindset ghanaians will find it hard to excel internationally.
