I think selection of athletes for competition has objective criteria. In athletics, it is clear who is first and second in a competition, unlike football. I am therefore surprised that the management of athletics in Ghana cannot agree on who to select for competitions. I am aware that in the past, there were a lot of favoritism in the selection. Perhaps it is this practice that Prof. Doodoo is trying to stop, which is why the corrupt so called technical men are not happy about.

Now the athletes know that once they put in the hard work there is an equal chance of getting selected and even the opportunity for a scholarship in the united states. For the ignorant guy talking about Margaret Simpson and Gaiser saga he simple is ignorant of the facts and there is no need responding to such naivete. Today most of these young athletes who wouldn't have had any opportunity to attend UG Legon, KNUST, Ashesi are in schools in the United States getting an education and training with with best. Our local couches in the districts, who would have never had an opportunity to travel because these so called in Accra have hijacked all travels can also attend international competitions and also training. These athletes will speak for themselves.....for the haters its expected because openness and honesty is running the association and their corrupted past is still hunting them. Its not about PROF its about Ghana athletics. I rest my case.

Could it be that their monies were being chopped by duodu and his cronies? Gaa has a duty and is obligated to scout the country for athletic talent and push them to universities locally or overseas. This is part of their mandate so don't make it look as of the gaa have done or are doing something out of the ordinary. Stupid fool. Look at the quality infrastructure we have in ghana for Ghanaian athletes, huh? What is the gaa doing to beef up this infrastructure in the regional sports stadiums and universities? Think big u bufoon!
