This is shameful. This Prince is a just a crook who uses such platforms to get favors. I want Prince the CEO to site one contribution each of the awardees have made to Northern Region, other than their respective positions.

Can we notice such philanthropy to the Northern poor with the many now filthy rich Government Officials and their counterpart heads of Institutions who have similar ties to the area?

Many of these high-ups from the Upper and Northern Regions, who reports indicate have become suddenly wealthy with the advent of the NDC Administration, have not shown any such help to the area. We have just learned of how some of them have built multiple Mansions in Accra but do not have much done for their Constituents back home.

I guess these dubious money-grabbing Officials could earn some more goodwill with their Constituencies that might come handy some day to save their necks from jail, if they would invest more in the areas with their wealth. Staying insensitively selfish to enjoy the loot outside the area would only lead to total lack of any sympathy from their own Constituents when the tides change against these crooks.

Talk of SADA, GYEEDA, etc., and ask where the monies went. Monies that could have been invested in more irrigation, expansion of reforestation projects to arrest the Sahelian drift to protect Agriculture and provide more jobs are reportedly stashed away in private pockets. These fraudulent Officials must be rejected by their own Folks.

I have heard in the vines how many such dubious Officials claim the Southerners in high positions long looted the State with impunity without being brought to account. So, it was their turn to invade the Treasury, too.

Well, the most unfortunate part of these rumors is that these dubious Officials from some of the poorest parts of the Nation in the North fail to send any help back home but use their ill-gotten riches to build in the South, leaving the North ever more lacking. This is why I think the SADA corrupt Officials deserve even harsher punishment than any other corrupt Officials. They are accused of having stolen from projects intended to improve the lives of the Northern dwellers (note, I said "dwellers") and still failed to spend the money there to indirectly expand the Economy in that area. That amounts to inflicting the Folks in the North with double-whammy denial of benefits by these Officials who have even closer relations to that area. That is a big betrayal!
