  Jonathan Mesah cannot do that job. I do believe only Awal and Adusei pair can do the job. Jonathan Mensah is only good at clearing balls that are heading for a goal in the penalty box. He does nothing to stop advances made by opponents. He also lacks distribution skills like Annan and Essien. Our midfield is also weak. We don't have midfielders who can attack and defend at the same time like Muntari and KPB and Essien. That puts a lot of pressure on Awal and Rahman who keep overlapping ad getting tired by the end of the first half. Kwadwo Asamoah and Atsu are only good at the wings, and Badu is all over the place. We are in trouble if things continue like this.

  The back middle was actually very good against Guinea. In fact, the the only weak point in the back line was Afful. He was late getting back on a number of occasions. The last game came down to the fact that our usually great midfield was very average and KASA had a very bad game. Let us see what happens on Wednesday.

To solve this problem the government of Ghana has over the decades made scholarships available for the needed human resource to be trained abroad. In some cases so many people were sent and not even one returned. If you know you are not prepared to work and live in Ghana and would therefore not return do not take the scholarships.
