Good comments. Let us hope that the return match in Tamale, Ghana would be prove that Ghana Black Stars would win and must win at all costs.

(Thanks to Kwasi Appiah, Kwasi Nyatakyi, and the so-called gangster ugly Moses Armah, Ghana midfield is bleeding profusely. Yesterday in Morocco, Kwadwo Asamoah who was supposed to be the holding midfielder was sucking like a baby. He kept dribbling instead of distributing balls like Essien and Annan used to do. Then he would pull the ball back leaving the attackers running for nothing. Also Badu who played midfield with Asamoah, lacks defending prowess because he is not all that strong and the guy Jonathan Mensah who is supposed to assist him from behind did not know what he was doing. Badu can only be good with a stronger partner. Thank God the Trio for defense were excellent. Only Afful was finding it a bit difficult to catch up. Both Awal and Rahman had to do the job for Asamoah and Badu. I have always said Atsu and Kasa should play as wingers with Dede and Gyan as attackers. If these 4 are moving forward with Afful Awal and Rahman at the defense, all Konadu needs to do is to beef up the midfield with a good distributor and a good holder. This is where Ghana is now lacking with the absence of Muntari and Essien. Ghana was forced to play defensive in the second half with Guinea because of this. The young Guineans surprised Ghana with their skills and speed. Thank God the time was already up else Ghana would have been in deep trouble. If Ghana can't find any good midfielders we should either call back Essien and Muntari, or try Edusei and Acquah because Mensah sucks, and Jordan, despite his assist in Gyan's goal still sucks as a striker. Like I have always said, Jordan can only be a good playmaker if he learns to pass balls because he can never be a good striker. And for those who are clamouring for Atsu to be dropped. I say don't do it. Atsu can be a great winger if we have a good midfielder to assist him whenever he is cornered. Konadu needs to make serious chages else we are doomed.)

They need Muntari back to keep that left midfield intact with his strength on the defensive side. In response to the author, please don't mention Boye's name again. He's not good. We still need a quality goal keeper. Starting 11 should be Kwarasay, Afful, Mensah, Akaminko, Rahman, Dede, Kwadwo, Acquah, Atsu, Waris, Gyan. I'm not worried about our star players. They play too hard in Europe. They don't play hard in unless it's World Cup qualifiers or the World Cup.

I respect Maxwell Konadu but he should learn to be tactically proactive as a coach. If you are playing a 4:4:2 with an intention to attack and you're being forced to defend with your team being overran in the middle in a threatening manner, you switch to a 4:5:1 to conserve what we had. Why do you stick to the 4:4:2 hoping to attack when you have being defending for your lives for close to 20mins? The Guineans had a free day to overrun our midfield and have a go at your backline. I really felt sorry for Awal and Afful because a wrong tactical substitutions left them countlessly exposed. The substitution of Agyemang Badu for Rabui was particularly terrible and it cost us the match. Rabiu and Badu should have being on the pitch together to fortify the middle when the moment we lost the momentum in attack. That was the time to pull out Astu or Jordan for a Rabiu. That is what we did in Togo.
You cannot play like this in international competition. You can't do that. It was a neutral venue for crying out loud and we can't hold on to beat Guinea when we are a goal up? With all our experience in igternational matches?

I see two lessons from Ghana's draw with Guinea:
Lesson I - Black Stars should not underestimate any African team, especially those we used to beat in the past. African governments are spending lots of money to improve football in their countries. Yesterday, Sudan humiliated the African champions, the Super Eagles of Nigeria, and today, Sierra Leone drew 1-1 with Cameroon. Folks, there are no more minnows in Africa. Any complacency will end up in upset.
Lesson 2 - Bring back Sulley Muntari to play for the Black Stars immediately. He is the best midfielder we have; if we want to win any matches in Africa.

Nyantekyi and the Saani idiots must go
Unless there is a wholesale change in the FGFA there will be no change in Black Stars. The best players will underperform.

Mutari is what we want. Damn all and bring the black stars engine back. His presence yesterday would have won the game hands down. Yes bring the three amigos. That is just my candid opinion.

As I see it, we can give Afriyie Acquah a chance and also think about getting Wakasso more involved. Wakasso's strike was great. It was unfortunate that the Guinea goalie came up with a great save.
