Nyantakyi's said he renewed the contract earlier in order to pin AA down in case the black stars performed. Nyantakyi, for your information, even if the black stars won the world cup, non of the advanced countries or the white man's countries will even employ AA for free as a coach. You have to pay AA every penny he deserved from your pocket. Dr. AA was not even qualified for the job in the 1st place. He did not know and still does not know his starting 11. We qualified to the world through try and error. USA team did not beat black stars. It was Klinsman who beat AA. If Klinsman had our players he would beat the US team. We still need a better Ghanaian coach.

He had won 12 out of 26, a 46% win-rate, a clear F, yet the wiseguys at the FA decided he should not only continue, but continue with a $166,002 sign-in fee, plus an $18,000 raise per month from $20,000.

Which other country in the world behaves like this?

My position is that we should, in the first place, have waited till the World Cup was over before deciding whether to renew or not, and by how much.

My stress is on Management's decision process, based on the data that's clearly available, which is the performance, the win-rate, not on Appiah as a person.

2. I've had it with foreign coaches, not starting now, but as far back as Milo's departure time.

That's why I've always thrown my full support behind Appiah, though Desailly was my preference when the post-Milo and post-Plavi searches were being made.

If you ask me about Milo, I will say NO.
I want Desailly, Sellas Tetteh or Konadu.

And now that Stephen Appiah is coming along, it's all good in my book.

No more foreigners for simple COACHING for a 60-year-old "independent" country.
