There is a lot of pressure on strikers to perform immediately, or leave. The same thing has happened to Dominic Addiayah and USA’s Freddy Adu.

Probably his agent guidance was not good enough.

I believe Quincy is the most talented Ghanaian footballer since Abedi Pele. During the days when Kevin Prince Boateng was struggling with his career, Harry Redknap gave Kevin a chance at Portsmouth and he seized it and became the top player he was, Quincy did not when he joined Portsmouth during the January transfer. He played about 4 excellent games and went to the middle east probably for bigger salary when he should have waited till the end of the season and probably a top 4 team would have bought him.
I strongly believe his agent must be very much concern with the financial goals instead of the players career success. Though Quincy has not helped himself with career strange choices external factors such as our so called Serbian coaches playing Prince Tagoe and Michael Abu at a time when Quincy had the best assist in the Greek league and on top of his game. Ghanasoccernet can also be blamed for campaigning for players like Michael Abu and Prince Tagoe and its time they stopped doing the groundwork for players who are not Blackstar materials to the detriment of talented ones like Quincy Owusu Abeyie. Quincy, I will personally pray for you to bounce back to take your rightful place in Blackstars.
