There is nothing wrong with a player making a suggestion to his coach or manager. It's up to the coach or manager to do his own assessment, set his goal, implement his plans and his own evaluation if there is a gain or failur ...

In football, (while I wouldn't call it a right), it is okay for some 'star' players to suggest things to their coaches.
Suggesting things to our parents, probably contrary to what they had said earlier, doesn't mean disrespe ...

In football, (while I wouldn't call it a right), it is okay for some 'star' players to suggest things to their coaches.
Suggesting things to our parents, probably contrary to what they had said earlier, doesn't mean disrespectfulness. In football in particular, or most sporting activities, 'participants', having been running - with their hearts pumping - don't usually make the best of presentations. This is in no way condoning indiscipline.

Ghanaian (most of us) are too quick to judge. Aaaaah.

Ghanaians and for that matter black people are good tearing down their own instead of encouraging, helping, advising their own to improve and be better for the society. Stephen Appiah suggested many times a player and we all saw it. They are on the field and can bring valuable information out to the bench. The coach can use it or refuse.

Experienced players can also read into the match and have their opinion as to how to affect play. sometimes, the managers also need some help in arriving at a decision, especially when things are getting hot. Dede whispering something to his boss is no sin.
It is also natural for someone who is prepared to die for his country to experience some disgust when he feels he could not achieve what he had set out to do. Most players show some signs of that when substituted. Players who show no emotion when substituted are either those also-runs who do not care whether or not the team is successful or those who accept they are tired and need some relief! Kwasi Appiah should not be criticized for that!

These are the pull me downs(PHD) trying their best to make the coach look ugly, Oh Ghana hmmm. This is the main reason that we have a lot of brains and expects outsides who can contribute meaningfully to our country yet they choose to sit on the fence and rather helping other nations. Man is man and so is bound to make mistakes, We are not God so we can not be perfect, why can't we encourage our own, provide every assistance and belief in ourself that we can do it. Oh African when can we grow? Look at us, we all became slaves in someones else land and contributing heavily to our economy yet, we are not welcome in our own land. Is it a curse to be black? Is that how jounalism is taught in our country? is that how we will be forever.....
