The reality is that we play to the level of our competition. Most of the time we win, but at the semifinal or final level of AFCON we are unable to go to the next gear. I think it is good that the qualifying is tough so that our players do not take anything for granted.

What went wrong was the money issues not football technicality. The money palaver between the management and the players should have been resolved before emplaning to Brazil. I will also add that the players should have been a little bit reasonable with their demands. All these years, at the end of the day, the players had never been owed any money.
