SEX before employment or appointment in Ghana must stop. Employment must be by qualification which should include BECE and SSSCE results.
Rape cases are on the increase in Ghana. Judges and WAJU of the Ghana police force must do more to protect our society. Some people have become so notorious of raping and getting away with it. Many believe that it is a weapon capable of scarring individuals to the very soul and seize the least opportunity to use it; using it on the families of their political or business competitors. Not even those at the higher echelons of our society must get away with it. It is said that a man paid a student to rape the daughter of his business and political competitor. The rapist got away with it.
The number of court houses and judges in Ghana are inadequate especially in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The population has ballooned and changes have to be made. The same can be said of the number of police officers and the number of penitentiaries. On a visit to a number of court houses around the country I found the Ghana flag and the Ghana Coat of Arms (Seal) absent. This must change.

Sometimes people trusted into top positions do not know that people at the bottom are watching them carefully. Asamoah Gyan has been a gossip Captain always back biting others to save his position. I have watched other Black Stars Captains and this guy is completely different hence respect has broken loose. Until we get rid of the "toto bribi di Coach
and the GFA President who is building a mafia around him, we are in trouble.
Fifa, GFA and CAF are all built around corrupt mafia guys. The Referees are equally the same. The fools are those who pay and watch them and fight. The hell...

Listowell, much as I cannot condone the activities of thugs (not tugs)attacking a Journalist for asking a "question", I would at the same time entreat a Journalist to "think well of the "question" before spewing it especially in public.
I am also a Journalist having worked under and with the likes of Elizabeth Ohene, Cameron Doudoo,Joe Aggrey, Ken Bediako, Kofi Badu, Ben Mensah, Kofi Akumanyi of blessed memory and a host of other seasoned JOURNALISTS.
In your article, the tone of which changed dramatically from someone sitting on the fence, to an attacking mode, You seriously failed as a seasoned journalist to accept that some "questions" are asked "judiciously" by Journalists in a "diplomatic" way and outside of the public domain, at a press conference.
Some statements or questions have the tendency to be quite libelous, scandalous, defamatory and of such damaging effect that a journalist writing without due caution to the profession's ethics finds him or herself unwittingly answering to the courts.
Castro is deemed to have drowned in a ski accident and the authorities are still investigating.
Rumours have gone viral, everyone guessing what could have happened leading to the incident, non of which could help the investigators.
And for you to suggest that the "GFA should have anticipated such a question and should have prepared Gyan for it" is ridiculous.
Is Castro a member of the Black Stars?
Was Castro with Gyan when he disappeared?
What connection has Castro with the GFA?
And what is the "People's question"?
There is no terminology like that in Journalism, my freind of the Inky Fraternity.
Best thing Kenu could have done within the ethics is arrange an interview with Gyan and then pose that question.
What you don't know is Gyan could have comfortably taken Kenu to the Dry cleaner's for even asking him such an obnoxious question.
And I would have seriously told him off if I were his editor.
Being a Jounalist does not give you the green light to ask an interviewee any silly question that comes into your head, especially a sensitive one like this.
I could go on and on but it's a waste of time and space.
In a nutshell, the way your friend went about his "interview" or "investigation" was wrong.
At the same time it was very unethical for Gyan's brother to do what he did.
And trust me, the law will not hold him for the assault.

Do you even know the question that was asked or how it was asked? Scandalous? Libelous? Indeed. You should take your own advice and at least research on the matters you choose to publicly comment on especially when you intend to be judgemental. Thuggery and bofoonery in this country must stop. You don't beat up anyone for asking a question, or in your country of residence it's the norm. Get some education mr so called journalist living in London, the question that was asked was a popular question on the average Ghanaians lip. It was a popular question and as far fetched as it sounded culturally it is legible to be asked. Gyan had every chance to take whoever to the dry cleaners and didn't. Mr Kenu and co also has every right to seek redress in court and I pray that the responsible people will let the process pan to its logical conclusion. Thank God you are of no consequence to our legal system and trust me you are not the sort who make good editors.

Kwame, I think you will laugh it off if some journalists and other members of the public come up to you with the question "we heard your mum is a prostitute and shagging all the men in your neighbourhood, and you even find clients for her" can you clear the air?
I am surprised you asked if I knew what question was asked and how it was asked.
Have you read the news on why Kenu was assaulted?
I wonder where your brains are located
to think gossiping should be made NEWS.
In my intro I said "I cannot condone the activities of thugs"
I am not legally trained, but trust me, I have got more BRAINS than you.
And it is a good thing you are not in the media, because you are RUBBISH !!!!

For sure, the question that this Journalist, who's said to be a Senior one representing no less a Press House than the Graphic is as unfortunate as it is reprehensible.
If you think what I'm saying is wrong I would advise that next time the President hosts a Press Conference you find out from him if it's true that it was he who killed President Mills. After all, that's also in the rumour mill, isn't it?
I would expect professional Journalists to ask sensible questions, especially at Press Conferences.
