So after 200 years of being an assistant, AA did not learn anything! Football knowledge from several coaches did not trickle down to him. We now believe it will 'trickle up' to him when he is a coach? Well, think again.

Why don't we just get rid of AA and get a real coach. AA cannot take us to the 'promise land'. We might not even qualify for another WC again.

Rape cases are on the increase in Ghana. Judges and WAJU of the Ghana police force must do more to protect our society. Some people have become so notorious of raping and getting away with it. Many believe that it is a weapon capable of scarring individuals to the very soul and seize the least opportunity to use it; using it on the families of their political or business competitors. Not even those at the higher echelons of our society must get away with it. It is said that a man paid a student to rape the daughter of his business and political competitor. The rapist got away with it.

The number of court houses and judges in Ghana are inadequate especially in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The population has ballooned and changes have to be made. The same can be said of the number of police officers and the number of penitentiaries. On a visit to a number of court houses around the country I found the Ghana flag and the Ghana Coat of Arms (Seal) absent. This must change.

Ghanaian, thank you very much for your insightful point. Ever since this sensitive issue of bringing an expatriate technical director (TD) aboard the national team came up, I've been wondering how much salary package he is going to be offered.

It was published shortly after the Brazil 2014 world cup that, Kwesi Appiah is the second least paid national coach in the world. The so-called TD is going to make multiples of what the coach himself makes. This is definitely going to be a matter of concern.

Also, who is going to take instruction from whom? If Kwesi sees things differently from the TD, how is that going to be resolved?

In my opinion, this is a "footballic" coup d'etat against Kwesi. It amounts to a duplication of the coach's position and function and hence an injudicious drain on the national economy.

To me, Kwesi has already done a very good job which Ghanaians should appreciate. He single-handedly coached the team on relatively pittance salary to qualify it for the world cup - first in Ghana football history where a native coach has accomplished that.

The Blackstar's poor performance in Brazil was more political than "footballical". Players were complaining about non-payment of their appearance fee and bonuses. Was Kwesi responsible for that? Why did the Minister (and hence govt) not act proactively on that and waited until players started complaining?

Lack of organization leads to inconsistency. Bringing in "outsiders" who are not really superstars in their own situations is not going to help anything. The GFA just wants to create the perception that something is being improved.

We have already wasted one world cup on him. He went to the WC with the only team that put the 'fear of Ghana' into the Germans and only came home with one (1) lousy point at the bottom of the group. James Kwesi Appiah is not worth all this effort. Let's get a real coach, lose his address and telephone number and forget him!
