Where is Appiah going if he quit the Black Star who is going to pay him $36,000.00 a month how many coaches in Ghana earn that kind of money? Akwesi Appiah's best option to stay on until he is fired and by that he take home retirement money. Kwesi Nyantakyi knowing what he is doing did not have a performance clause in his contract.

Name a team Akwesi Appiah coach before he took the assistant job? This job was handed to him without applying for it we supported him for every man or woman must be give shot he had his chance and did not make good use for it so sad.

I don't recollect beating both Egypt and Zambia in Cairo and Lusaka respectively. These two teams beat us at their home grounds and we beat them when we played them in Ghana. That, my friend, is nothing to write home about.

In the World Cup, each team scored two goals against us. This included Portugal who had played very badly in their first two matches and were there for the taking. Have we all forgotten the contribution of John Boye to our defeat in the US and Portugal games? Any good coach would have relegated him to the bench after the first game but Jerry Akaminko was not available to replace him. I guess the coach did not have faith in Rashid Sumaila. Taking a stretched defence and so many midfielders to the World Cup came back to hurt us and the blame lies squarely with Appiah.

Secondly, he is timid and has allowed the senior players to trample over him. He does not command the due respect from the players in addition to his tactical deficiency.

He will hang on to this job as he knows that Seychelles, Madagascar, and Turk and Caicos Islands will not even offer him a contract.

Have we forgotten how bad the Black Stars played in the last Nations Cup under Appiah? Even bias referring against Burkina Faso could not help an Appiah-select side. In as much as I do not tolerate the attitude of the senior players at the World Cup, we need them to form a strong team. The victory over the Egyptians in Kumasi that earned Appiah an honorary doctorate (a joke, right?) was down to the players and not Appiah.

Drawing against the (eventual) winner, Germany, in a game the Germans incurred the wrath of their coach for being tactically indisciplined, does not conceal the fact that the Appiah is clueless and cannot read and make game-winning changes.

It is obvious that the FA wasn't completely satisfied with the hasty extension ofAppiah's contract.Why will you reward a disastrous performance with a bounty contract before a post tournament assessment is conducted to evaluate the coaches performance.I believe it is the most prudent move of the FA. If Appiah isn't happy he can leave and the FA will not be held liable for breach of contract.If he decides to work with a technical director, it means that he accepts his inadequacy and therefore should not be there to begin with.
