GFA, just say NO!! Why are you such wimps? You know the right thing to do but you are scared to say no............. so you are trying to pass the buck to the government, so that if they say no, then you will tell sierra leone that you wanted to agree but the government said no............and also if they say yes and something happens, then you will tell Ghanaians you wanted to say no but the government said you should allow them....The people asked you the question, just give them a straight "NO" answer.

Charles this is about national healthcare and security so how do you figure GFA having jurisdiction over that? You must think FIFA is so powerful.Sierra Leone is our sister nation even more so than Liberia and whatever we can do to assist will be the right thing to do, but that decision rest solely with the President and not GFA or FIFA.IF FIFA will not accept a decision by the Ghana government to allow SL to play their matches in Ghana then they can go to hell.

What nonsense is this? Is football more important than the health of Ghanaians?
1. Will the match be played in an empty stadium? If no, will Sierra Leone fans come down to mix with Ghanaians and like Ghana decide to seek asylum? If no how can we guarantee there are no Sierra Leonean fans since in Ecowas there is free movement of people through all formal and informal entry points. Can the NDC government imagine (small brains) the cost of one Ebola case on the already fragile and collapsing economy under Mahama? What if Sierra Leone withdraws from the CAF competition and mobilize all resources to fight the Ebola in their own country? Does it not sound humane and logical? Typical African leaders led by clueless Ecowas president indeed!
By the way in their first matches, Seychelles refused the Serra Leone National team entry into Seychelles for fear of the above reasons so SL qualified automatically. Why Ghana in the first place? What is Ghana's stake in this? Everything in this NDC era is politics (simply meaning we will not do the right thing and appoint square pegs and put them in round holes) Le them come and play, let there be one case of ebola and we will see if it will not be the last nile to seal the coffin of this crazy regime.

@Komla your glaring double standard against Sierra Leone is disheartening and quite honestly shameful.I didn't hear any protests from you or the other fools when the whole of Asia was afflicted with SARS or the Middle east with MERS.None of you protested against the Chinese or Lebanese coming to Ghana. Now all of a sudden Sierra Leone is been treated like a leper.I hope to heavens our Government grant them the request to play in Ghana and also take a bigger role in assisting our striken neighbor.
