If this guy was talking about amateur boxing, I would have agreed with him but these stupid prize fighters should invest some of the millions they win in building their own gyms because they fight for themselves not Ghana.

What you did with the money, that is your problem but please forget about the tax payers money coz, you don't deserve it. What did you do to improve upon that bukom gym you started your boxing. Our problem as a nation is, we never think of what to do for the nation but what the nation will do for us. Go back to Ghana and help the kids.

Rape cases are on the increase in Ghana. Judges and WAJU of the Ghana police force must do more to protect our society. Some people have become so notorious of raping and getting away with it. Many believe that it is a weapon capable of scarring individuals to the very soul and seize the least opportunity to use it; using it on the families of their political or business competitors. Not even those at the higher echelons of our society must get away with it. It is said that a man paid a student to rape the daughter of his business and political competitor.

The number of court houses and judges in Ghana are inadequate especially in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The population has ballooned and changes have to be made. The same can be said of the number of police officers and the number of penitentiaries. On a visit to a number of court houses around the country I found the Ghana flag and the Ghana Coat of Arms (Seal) absent. This must change.

Any way I have seen any developed nation support a price fighter it is rather the price fighters who find a way to give back.I never saw the U.S government or Australian or British government vote money to support American Tyson or Australian Fenech or British Lenox Lewis respectively please do your research.It is normally individuals who invest their money into Boxing building Gyms and promoting fights.Most former boxers retire and go into promotion business or run a Gym so trying to compare boxing to soccer is way off.When they paly for the Black Stars they bring money when they play the league same but boxing is more of price.

Where will the azumah etc come from. I do agree with what you are saying those. Fmr fighters should invest in the sport. Azumah and co must invest in building more gyms, coaching, promoting fights....This is what deflated last Hoya, tyson, mayweather are all doing...

Advice: Please set up a non-profit and seek funding from the international community to promote boxing in Ghana. You would be surprised of the response. These guys in government have no clue. This has nothing to do with NDC, NPP, etc. The very make of a politician in Ghana is void of vision. They cannot see beyond making money without having to not work for it. Please leave them alone.
