I wish to state that all the problems engulfing the coach and the black star players is that they show no respect for him beacuse he is black so his most Ghananians. We always believe in expatriates who are paid so much than one of our own when it comes to renumeration. All across the spectrum of our admnistration the Ghanaian would be considered doing mediocre work than a white expatriate who probabaly would do less but still get our respect and more pay. We should for once support coach Appiah and note that the game was lost right of the field of play when players demanded their pound of flesh and the GFA and the Ministry of Sports ignored their request. The cause of defeat lies at the doorpost of those responsible to pay the players before embarking on the journey to Brazil. please i wish to entreat all Ghanaians not to give the dog a bad name and hang it so coach Appiah should not be held for a problem beyond his capabilities for which any other coach who had a revolt from players on appearance fees could not have survived either.

The reality of the matter is that in any business, if you are put in a certain position but the management body above you is not organized, you cannot do your job well. If the GFA did not make sure that all was in order with the players, now the coach has additional headaches to worry about. People should refer to Nigeria and why Keshie quit. He simply was tired of all the foolish behavior. Luckily for Nigeria, their group was not as tough. They had two very beatable teams and one top ranked team so their chances of being second in the group was extremely high. We had three teams ranked higher than us. More importantly, we had three teams with better organized federations than us. Enough said.

Who on earth would rest his best players and wait to bring them on when his opponent are tried this is what Appiah did. I am about result and you do not have to reward failure. Appiah had failed to reach every bench mark set for him we gave him a pass on the failure of South Africa Cup of nations. Do you want us to wait till when?

I must point out something important. If you look back to this forum, a majority of people were saying that we would lose to Zambia, then we were going to lose to Egypt. What happened?? Two critical wins and one was emphatic. All the critics suddenly became silent. Yes, Appiah made mistakes at the WC but I have not heard one critic state that they know of a coach who can GUARANTEE that if they take over now, this team will qualify and win AFCON 2015. Until then you stick with what you have. If AFCON 2015 is a failure, then make changes. For some reason, Africans still think that if you just hire a foreigner, victories will come. I think our brethren in Nigeria tried that in 2010 and got knocked out of the group stages. The foreign coach did not save them embarrassment. The reality is that if we had an easier group we would have made it through in spite of the problems. This time, we had a challenge from the start so we could not get away with the mistakes that were made in 2010.

Most Ghanaians are patriotic but when it comes to incompetence, patriotism must be given the red card. The reason the GFA officials wanted Appiah in the job was to dictate to him. This was one of the reasons Ghana Black stars did not do well. There were allegations that some of the players told the coach to drop one or two players and he did. No one is talking about it. In short Mr Appiah is a puppet. We need someone who can stand his grounds and not to be told what to do. He must be sacked. All his handlers must be shown the door. Ghana need coaches who can read the game. We do not need David Moyes type of coach. We need Van Gals type who will make things happen.

Ebo, wicked man. What exactly did Kwesi Appiah do wrong? Are you simply envious of his pay as a coach and want to take the job from him and give it to your tribe's man or some white man? Are you going politicize this job too? Can't we simply understand that if a team divides its attention between playing and payment it's bound to lose especially if it leads to the point where an official is slapped? While Ghanaian players can play well elsewhere for big pay they should learn to play well and humbly for their country too. Let the Ghanaian public talk about the need for tractability at their camps and not support the monstrosity of the likes of Muntari. It will take us nowhere. Let's use our local material rather than a foreign one for a coach. Our local one will inadvertently take less for remuneration.
Kwesi Appiah is already deep in the job. Let's support him. Or dump him if we think nepotistically that our "brother" can do it.
God bless Ghana!

AA is not up to the job. simple as that nothing to do with tribe or mr nice guy. let us move our country forward by putting logic before sentiment.in my view, under the two serbian coaches bs was developing a particular playing style that could be identified, this helps the players who only come together for assignments with time very limited to try out different things. an advantage of having an identified pattern of play is that you can tweak and change style per games depending on the personell you have and still always know that you can always revert back to your pattern.Does AA has or appears to be playing to a set pattern? arsenal fc has a style of play whereby regardless of which team they put out they still manage to get into the champions league. In fact in some countries like germany that pattern is adopted by all the clubs from the youth level. AA does not appear to me to have a defining philosophy or set pattern.

Good analysis for those of us following the mess at GFA and the Black Stars coaching job. One, Appiah has proven that he is not the right person for the job. Two, the GFA is not an easy solution given the consequences that could come by the way of another deeply corrupt organization, FIFA. For Appiah, just give the guy his marching orders, he's just not good enough. Clean house and get rid of his technical team, they seem to be more of spectators on the bench rather than tacticians. Most important, please nomore local-based coaches, because Appiah has just proven beyond doubt that they are out of their league when it comes to taking the Stars to the next level. They simply do not have what it takes, it is that simple.
