the problem with this northern mentality is that thanks to jj they now all have an unquenchable thirst for power but never to serve in a team or accept their fellow countrymen . just look around in Accra and study the majority of the businesses owned by these northerners and in the majority of the medium and Small sized businesses you notice they only employ their fellow northerners and practically never employ an Akan . Today in Accra the largest religious building in the country will be the mosque being build on our national park at Nima donated by Turkey confirming the Islamic domination of Ghana. Tribalism mixed with chauvinism and despotism from the north has now equaled the hegemony of the ewes . A.C.C.R.A any criminal can roam about so we have them everywhere now . even at the scholarship secretariat hardly ever is an Akan awarded the privilege to go abroad and study now . The Akans are the majority but because most continue to sleep or blindly trust the other tribes these atrocities are taking place . We look at the political strategy of the NDC and see the typical Hannibal wench when he turned the strengths of the mighty Roman army against themselves as they are doing to the Akans . From the south they use part of the Fantis and from the North the Brongs , from behind we have the chariot onslaught of the Gas Ewes Krobos. Yes the political landscape reflects a war which is only meant to destroy the right of self governance of the God's chosen nation of Africa the Akan . For them its a big deal who leads the NPP but we really don't care as our movement grows stronger by the hour as more and more Akans wake up to reality of this dire situation . We did not ask for this war but we will fight it and be victorious as God is with us .

The bunch of these do nothing officials whose accomodations, food and allowances are concern to the ordinary folks is what Mr. Muntari was expressing his sentiments.

Mr. Muntari didn't do anything wrong if the so-called officials have established proper mechanism about paying the players appearance and other fees prior to their departure to Brazil, this stupid incident would not have happened. What a stupid idea for a country to airlift $3 million to another country to pay it's sports representatives? Is this a ransom money to free hostages? The Brazilian authorities are going to make it difficult for the players to exit with such money of ($100,000.00) out of that country unless Government of Ghana negotiate on their behalf other than that, the maximum cash the players could exit with is ($10,000.00)and then wire - transfer the rest into their accounts which will attract taxes and other fees.

You see how stupid our Government is for incurring expenses to carry the money to Brazil and loosing taxes on the money paid to the players and turn to tax the poor to the bone. Alhaji Grunsah, go get some pito and tz to cool off. We love Muntari.

Hahaha! If he doesn't know, Sulley Muntari has long passed through that stage and is now a football star who moves with the international jet set. He has acquired the self-confidence that comes with performance, on a regular basis, at the international level.

But he has not lost the sense of justice that he grew up with. Many Ghanaians, nowadays, don't have any SENSE OF JUSTICE. Big Man Always Right. Big Man Always must be deferred to, even when he engages in nonsense that can harm everybody.

Sulley has NOT SOLD HIS CONSCIENCE, and does not react to events on the basis of who is saying what. Does it make sense? Does it solve problems?

If you are a player, in a camp, listening to what your team-mates are saying about free-boaters or "free-riders"; (over 500 of them!) and you know that had it not been for that waste of money, there would not have been a problem in the camp, what do you do? If the IDIOTS on a free ride try to shut you up when you plead with your administrators to see sense, because they have been brought along precisely to make sensible discussion impossible, but only to use macho tactics to HECKLE and HARASS those who fight against the bosses for their legitimate rights, what should be done? Remain silent because you come from the Zongo?

Sulley bravely showed the fools that not everyone would tolerate their macho nonsense. After all, he too is from a macho background.

The "soccer gods" -- mere administrators who, in Ghana and some African countries, always think they can lord it over the talents they are asked by the nation to nurture, wwill never learn. They are tinpot dictators who who think that the players "belong"'to them, to do as they like with. But in Brazil, they met their match. They thought they could get away with it again, as they did in South Africa. The players said, No Sir! Not any more!

Sulley will, of course, be depicted as the villain and will be made the sacrificial l;mb. Few care about the "justice" of his case. But no-one who has any sense should be left in any doubt that if unwarranted provocation had not occurred, he would not have responded as he did. For a hanger-on to tell a player of Sulley's sranding, "I am a worse gangster than you!" whilst his bosses looked on, smiling, chai! Sege!

(By the way, Mr Ethnicist, Sulley moved out of the Zongo a long time ago! You, as a Football Club Owner must also remove your mind from the Zongo. Look at things objectively, not through ethnic lense.

It's about time that people grow from that old mentality which always makes our children go around with the guilty conscience and "low esteem" that they are "nobodies" among their own peers and worst, when they come in contact with foreigners.
This is what the Ghanaian populace ought to accept from hence especially the old ones of which I am a member.
Let as accept as fact that the days when your children used to stand before you with their hands clasped behind them like pupils before their teachers and Catechists, is gone and it is gone forever.
The age when your children or anybody younger than you tend to accept all your directives without any questions, are gone.
If you think that a child has no right to ask you a question as to why you want such and such a thing done or question the sense in some things you are doing or asking him to do means that he oir she has no respect, then you have gotten it all wrong.
Let our children grow and one other thing, you also as an adult should grow and know how to talk to one who is younger than you, be he your child or a neighbor.
RESPECT COMES FROM BOTH THE OLD AND THE YOUNG.We all have to practice showing respect to one another.
I know for sure that it is not children who go on Ghanaweb to air their grievances - which almost always starts and ends in insults. Please remember that the kids are always reading what you post and this will not only be on paper but will surely come by mouth and when this happens, please, don't be offended.
In our community if somebody tries to challenge authority, the majority of the populace get offended and the first thing is " you have no respect"
If you want to be respected, do the right thing.
If the GFA had paid these players their appearance fee or whatever, do you think that those who know their rights - Muntari and Boateng - would have challenged them?
Let's face facts and stop all these " I am the boss mentality" and do the right thing.

Sulley Muntari was wrong to slap Mr.Gruzah and would not tolerate that to be done to anyone irrespective of their social, political or economic background because human beings are human beings and we all deserve respect. What I really want to emphasize here is that, we cannot pretend and impeach one and let go the other without looking into really what transpired. Respect goes both ways. The Government must investigate the matter fairly and decisively or go to the root cause without any favour of shape or form. "What is due to Caesar must be given unto Caesar" Until we change our approach of dealing with matters, there will never be peace and this is what the officials must realize and do. Some of our leaders must be trained properly before representing us on international stages. e.g.(speech therapy, professionalism, customer service, demeanour, etc.) The question I would like to ask here is : Why was the money not given to the players on time as their appearance fee? who was behind all of this? Ghanaians need to know and the GFA Boss Mr.Kwasi Nyantakyi, The sports Minister and his deputy must all answer. This problem should have never reached the media in the eyes of the world. The truth must be told and made public so there would not be such occurrence in the future. We should stop being hypocrites. By the way we are still waiting to hear about the match fixing scandal. Heads must roll if proven to be true.

The government official that were at the games outnumbered the playing and coaching body and each one of them were being paid their allowances; yet the players themselves were not being paid. If it was not because of Muntari, their allowances might not even have been paid. Muntari has the right to speak and although no one agrees his slapping of the official, sometimes circumstances demands that. What led to the government's failure to pay the players their allowances in the first place until they agitated This is what must be addressed.

What are the meaning of the words Zongo,Peppeni, and Tani or Ntafor? There is the need to use definitive words rather than too much jargons. All these words like: Zongo, Peppeni, Tani or Ntafor are jargons and are of no meaning. In fact we do not have to use these words especially in writing.

Ntafor was originally used by the Asantes in referring to colleagues (ie wa Atta). Then the society came out with Ntafor as the plural for the two colleagues. 'Wa Attah' was use to address a colleague/brother/friend of farm labourer. Like where is your brother/friend/colleague. ln a local Ashanti dialect: Na w'Attah wohene?. It was a polite way of asking a person of his friend/colleague/companion/brother may be you don't know of the name. So let us be more educative by making sense and definitive in the usage of words and terms of importance in the national forum. So what is Zongo community?

What is Papa Ara Ataa and Mama Ara Ataa?. In Yoruba language of south western Nigeria, 'Ara Ataa' means 'Pepper seller'. Hence words like 'Ara Taafor' do not exist as group of people from a particular culture or a country. Ara Tani/Ara taafor are not definitive terms and must stop now
