My question to you is where does one get experience if one is not given a chance? Question no 2 this is Ghana third appearance to world which of the two coaches that took us to world cup of 2006 and 2010 have been to world cup as player or as an assistant coach before they took Ghana?

Now are you are that Akwesi Appiah had been a assistant to two African Cup of Nations, a head coach to one local African cup nations and head coach to African cup of nation. Also he was an assistant coach to the 2010 World cup. I am 100 + 10% sure if an European coach has these on his CV or resume most people would be dancing and singing the song the Jewish people did 4000 years old which goes like this "Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands."

If you applied yours properly, you'd have noticed that it makes no sense saying if local players were used to win laurels in under 17, 20 and 23 age category tournaments then we can use locals to do same for the senior national team. That doesn't add up. It's like advising your son in Canada that you married from the village so he should also follow suit. Where are all the players in the various national teams you mentioned? Majority are not playing again abi?

Even, you couldn't grasped anything from your own advance predicted philosophical presumption that a local coach "MRAA" could not kwalify us for the W/C. You still kept pondering about his CV's and managerial statutes but he started coaching our nationals team as Mr. like you and I, now he has earned soccer Philosophical degree and whether you would endorse it or not, it is written in the books.
If a white man's car broke down in the middle of Accra -Kumasi road side, he will definitely go for roadside fitters "3kwanky3n fitta" for repairs and after it was done, there he goes again. So the professional engineer and roadside fitter, who really matters most when the crisis arrives in the road side?

It is not over until it is over. The team, the coach and Ghanaian soccer fans have come a very very long way. Now we are at the eve of the mother of all world cups--WC 2014 in the Amazon the heartland of soccer.It took the great progressive effort of Commander Silent Killer Appiah, the experience of the Black Star players from foreign leagues,the adaptability of the technical team, and to some degree the die-hard commitment of Grandmaster Nyantakyi and the Divine Will of JAH.

But it is not over untill it is over. The Black Stars cannot come to a halt, and admire how great the coach is or praise the team and flee from the battlefield to count the money. We go for the gold.We have the same chance as all teams in the world to win the trophy. The Warrior Prince Kevin think the trophy may be far fetched. But we will see at the aftermath of the showdown in Brazil,

Every team has a problem and we also have problems but we will triumph over our opponents using our Brains, Skill and Determination.

The German team has no strikers just as the warrior Prince Kevin has said. No Ballack, no Gerd Muller, no Voeller,nor Rumanigge but ageless klose and overated midfielder. How can they match the skill , power and speed of the Black Stars. The Portuguese have Ronaldo the humpty-dumpty forward. Once he is neutralized with skill and speed. Can Portugal beat Ghana . Mr Appiah I don't know what you mean by inexperience. If I am right, inexperience means being very new to a new situation and thus having little or no opportunity to demonstrate your abilities. But you have to remember your namesake has been in the post for 2 years now. He must have been inexperienced in the first year when he struggled a little bit to find a winning formula. This showed in Afcon 2013. But after that he began to learn beginning with the WC Qualifiers. Since then he is gradually getting to grips with the situation. His confidence in himself is also on the rise as is demonstrated by the way he deal with the press and the players. In fact he showed he had done his homework and has indeed done a good deal of monitoring by his provisional list. Well I have got a message for you Mr Appiah. AA outsmarted and outwitted seasoned coaches like Herve Renard and Bob Bradley to ensure Ghana went to Brazil. And I am optimistic that he can do the same in Brazil if he maintains the confidence and trust in himself. He must know all Ghanaians are behind him. And so must do what is right, first and foremost not to be afraid to pick the right players in the interest of Ghana. He is blessed and he has picked a good squad. All that is needed now is to evolve the right strategy and approach for every match. I wish him Good Luck and God's guidance as he seeks to make Ghana proud together with his players.

It takes 'akukuduro' (courage) and stamina, perseverance when unsure and embarrassed by humiliating disaster, to seek in the ruins the elements of success.

At some point in his dedication period, he was woefully underpaid when salary disparity was the subject. Most of us raised hell down.
Fortunately or unfortunately, one of the local coaches had the nerve to chastise DRAA to get out of the kitchen if he felt overheated.
Quite a few of the local coaches showed a tremendous jealousy for DRAA's cooling heart. He could abdicate if he felt cheated or disrespected.

In a nutshell, one cannot tell or convince me DRAA lacks experience. 3hy3 no po!!, Like the proverbial singer that he seems to be, he says: "Agooji de3 OwO bi paaaa.

He has manly faced growth in adversity being the sum total of football experiences, so much that, one would not be surprised if Brazil could come smiling.

I started pondering over it till I got to the front of the house only to find an ewe man talking to his 2 sons. Telling "Courage" not to be like his other son "Fear". DRAA, has come of age. He's is his own man and works with "akokoduro". No wonder Virtous International couldn't control our world cup player list this time. Appiah will do well and let's back him up. As for haters, there'll always be some available and I guess their demands help put people on their toes. If we all pass the exams, there'll be no failure but somebody got to pass or fail and such is life.

I guess what he is saying is,not withstanding what befalls the team or coach after the World Cup, Ghanaians should be patient enough and not call for his head but rather allow him to use his experience to build the team for the next tournament,because experience may sometimes be a good teacher.

Papa Appiah this is rubbish and a slap in the face of the players who are training hard to go and try to WIN the World Cup. If you do not have faith in OUR team do not write any more articles that discourages rather then motivate the boys. If your intent is not to win all your games then a team shouldn't go to the tournament. Your tone in this article is indicative of the culture in Ghana, where we continue to belittle our brothers instead of encouraging them for success.
