WHY MUST WE DEMAND WCUP TROPHIES FROM THE U17, 20, METEORS AND EVEN CHAN, BUT BE CONTENT WITH LOW PERFORMANCES/EXPECTATIONS FROM OUR SENIOR TEAM? FOR THE RECORD, DO REMEMBER THAT THE OTHER NATL TEAMS RELY PRIMARILY ON LOCAL BASED PLAYERS UNLIKE THE SENIOR TEAM. WHO RELY MAJORLY ON FOREIGN BASEDPLSAYERS. YET, AA IN ALL HIS WISDOM BELIEVES THE LOCALLY BASED PLAYERS ARE NOT RIPE TO PARTICIPATE IN BRASIL....THE MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE! IF WE CAN RELY ON MOSTLY LOCAL PLAYERS TO WIN LAURELS AT U17, 20, 23, CHAN. WHY CANT WE DO THAT FOR THE SENIOR TEAM?

My question to you is where does one get experience if one is not given a chance? Question no 2 this is Ghana third appearance to world which of the two coaches that took us to world cup of 2006 and 2010 have been to world cup as player or as an assistant coach before they took Ghana?
Now are you are that Akwesi Appiah had been a assistant to two African Cup of Nations, a head coach to one local African cup nations and head coach to African cup of nation. Also he was an assistant coach to the 2010 World cup. I am 100 + 10% sure if an European coach has these on his CV or resume most people would be dancing and singing the song the Jewish people did 4000 years old which goes like this "Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands."

The mind is truly a terrible thing to waste. I agree with that phrase but don't you think you're wasting yours? If you applied yours properly, you'd have noticed that it makes no sense saying if local players were used to win laurels in under 17, 20 and 23 age category tournaments then we can use locals to do same for the senior national team. That doesn't add up. It's like advising your son in Canada that you married from the village so he should also follow suit. Where are all the players in the various national teams you mentioned? Majority are not playing again abi?

Haha haha, Mr. Papa Appiah, you are really a very, very devious, dubious controversial person I have ever known. Even, you couldn't grasped anything from your own advance predicted philosophical presumption that a local coach "MRAA" could not kwalify us for the W/C. You still kept pondering about his CV's and managerial statutes but he started coaching our nationals team as Mr. like you and I, now he has earned soccer Philosophical degree and whether you would endorse it or not, it is written in the books.
If a white man's car broke down in the middle of Accra -Kumasi road side, he will definitely go for roadside fitters "3kwanky3n fitta" for repairs and after it was done, there he goes again. So the professional engineer and roadside fitter, who really matters most when the crisis arrives in the road side?
Just leave the man alone!

It is not over until it is over. The team, the coach and Ghanaian soccer fans have come a very very long way. Now we are at the eve of the mother of all world cups--WC 2014 in the Amazon the heartland of soccer. It took the great progressive effort of Commander Silent Killer Appiah, the experience of the Black Star players from foreign leagues, the adaptability of the technical team, and to some degree the die-hard commitment of Grandmaster Nyantakyi and the Divine Will of JAH.
But it is not over untill it is over. The Black Stars cannot come to a halt, and admire how great the coach is or praise the team and flee from the battlefield to count the money. We go for the gold.We have the same chance as all teams in the world to win the trophy. The Warrior Prince Kevin think the trophy may be far fetched. But we will see at the aftermath of the showdown in Brazil,
Every team has a problem and we also have problems but we will triumph over our opponents using our Brains, Skill and Determination.
The German team has no strikers just as the warrior Prince Kevin has said. No Ballack, no Gerd Muller, no Voeller, nor Rumanigge but ageless klose and overated midfielder. How can they match the skill , power and speed of the Black Stars. The Portuguese have Ronaldo the humpty-dumpty forward. Once he is neutralized with skill and speed. Can Portugal beat Ghana . Never, if Silent Killer commands the battle from the touchline. We will beat the Portuguese will our brains , skill and guts. Klinsmann the Azaaman thinks he will beat the Black Stars with power, whirl-wind, fire-brand soccer. He takes this troops up and down the hill a thousand times trying to build the stamina of the US team. The traitor spies told Klinsman that the the Black Star backbone is built with over-the-hill players who can barely stand on their feet without falling by their own weight. Of course this false. The Commander Appiah must however work on the stamina of our troops and victory will be ours.
FORWARD EVER AND BACKWARDS NEVER.

Asempah is totally right bcos these people are only foreign-white coach inclined.AA is inexperienced, yes we all know. If he doesn`t coach, how, where and when will he get the experience. All the coaches Papa Appiah mentioned are all coaching their own countries and they all started just like AA has started.
All that is Bullshit because even if we bring in Scolari,Ferguson,Van Gaal etc,Ghana can not win the world cup. Why not therefore leave AA alone and even support him to gather more experience for 2018 instead crucifying him all along? WE have less than a month now,so please leave AA alone to put his finishing touches.

Mr Appiah I don't know what you mean by inexperience. If I am right, inexperience means being very new to a new situation and thus having little or no opportunity to demonstrate your abilities. But you have to remember your namesake has been in the post for 2 years now. He must have been inexperienced in the first year when he struggled a little bit to find a winning formula. This showed in Afcon 2013. But after that he began to learn beginning with the WC Qualifiers. Since then he is gradually getting to grips with the situation. His confidence in himself is also on the rise as is demonstrated by the way he deal with the press and the players. In fact he showed he had done his homework and has indeed done a good deal of monitoring by his provisional list. Well I have got a message for you Mr Appiah. AA outsmarted and outwitted seasoned coaches like Herve Renard and Bob Bradley to ensure Ghana went to Brazil. And I am optimistic that he can do the same in Brazil if he maintains the confidence and trust in himself. He must know all Ghanaians are behind him. And so must do what is right, first and foremost not to be afraid to pick the right players in the interest of Ghana. He is blessed and he has picked a good squad. All that is needed now is to evolve the right strategy and approach for every match. I wish him Good Luck and God's guidance as he seeks to make Ghana proud together with his players.

Papa Appiah we know you to be the most hater of Mr. AA in this world. You wrote so many filthy issues about him. What happened? All your wishes had not materialized. Yes your wishes has fallen on your face. This your article was written to save your face. You should be ashamed of yourself. Even at this hour most readers can still discern your hatred for the coach. You claim to be a graduate from Tech but what have you achieved in life so far for you to be thinking of helping Ghana in any way.
You are indeed one of those people who only learn from a teacher and never ever thinking of exploration or innovation. No doubt you continue to lick the boot of the white man.
Its a shame to say that Ghana will not win. Did your white coaches win any cup for Ghana?. Only one nation can win the WC and it can be any nation.
Even if Ghana does not win at least our OWN MAN has taken us there and may inspire others to follow suit and that may lead to an improved approach next time from OUR OWN MAN.
You may continue your hatred for the coach but to some of us the coach has rather exposed your stupidity. Ask the Almighty God for forgiveness and also ask for WISDOM.

Here is one:
It has also been said that failure is part of nature's plan through which it prepares men and women of destiny to do its work. I have found much evidence in life to support this theory. One of the first lessons of life is to learn how to snatch victory from defeat.
It takes 'akukuduro' (courage) and stamina, perseverance when unsure and embarrassed by humiliating disaster, to seek in the ruins the elements of success.
D
I beg, to humbly take notice of the Governor differing from the accolade 'MRAA' (caps mine) to the most august dignifying academic prefix, "The Doctor" studiously and most humanely conferred on one of our industrious team leader, the most revered Dr. Akwasi Appiah, for the purposes of pop identification, a spot on coach, a local breed, born and bred from the Governor's "walaltulization Project".
Now wishes to be known and called henceforth: Ladies and gentlemen!, introducing Doc.AA with the document the 'DRAA LAW' that seek to bind and control the 2014 WC, the indomitable, the indefatigable GBS still valid and still hold good.
Did I hear one say The DRAA has no experience? And that, he knows not what he's doing?
I don't think so!!
Now, hanza this.
What kind of business, a job, a work,
a trade, a profession, a handiwork, an artifice and or artillery has this DRAA of man have been doing all these 'fifty something' years of his life if not for football, soccer to be precised?
2. What kind of love has this DRAA of man got for the mere passion if not for soccer?
3.Love thyself, love thy country couldn't have been any meaningful to him if DRAA was somebody different other you and I.
At some point in his dedication period, he was woefully underpaid when salary disparity was the subject. Most of us raised hell down.
Fortunately or unfortunately, one of the local coaches had the nerve to chastise DRAA to get out of the kitchen if he felt overheated.
Quite a few of the local coaches showed a tremendous jealousy for DRAA's cooling heart. He could abdicate if he felt cheated or disrespected.
In a nutshell, one cannot tell or convince me DRAA lacks experience. 3hy3 no po!!, Like the proverbial singer that he seems to be, he says: "Agooji de3 OwO bi paaaa.
He has manly faced growth in adversity being the sum total of football experiences, so much that, one would not be surprised if Brazil could come smiling.
Who say man no dey?
Man dey charlie.
