Olele may not be 50 years old. Olele's father was Adjei Kingston. Olele's father was an acrobatic goalkeeper for Hearts of Oak a long time ago when soccer was highly competitive in Ghana. Adjei Kingston is now dead.

I agreed with Mr.Laryee Kingson.
Mr.Richard Kingson deserve to be included in the Ghana Black Stars Team for the World Cup in Brazil.He should be included because of his Experience,and he is in good form at the Moment.

I think to add Richard or not to add him (and any other player) should be based, solely, on CURRENT form. If by all standards and in terms of current form, Mr. Richard Kingston (or Kingson?) is better than any of the keepers ...

I think to add Richard or not to add him (and any other player) should be based, solely, on CURRENT form. If by all standards and in terms of current form, Mr. Richard Kingston (or Kingson?) is better than any of the keepers we have, we have to include him. Experience counts a lot but that experience can only be beneficial if the owner of the experience has the physical strength to apply it to help the team. Former Black Star players like Osei Kofi, Abedi Pele, Polo, Anthony Yeboah, the Kuffours, etc are, by all standards extremely experienced but they can't be included in the team because the channel through which their experience could be used-their physical strength-is somehow weak. That's the more reason why we can't include them in the team.
If Olele, by current form is ok to be included, let the coach add him. I don't think he should be included simply because he has the experience. We are talking about soccer or football-it's a game that demands BOTH experience and energy.
Once again, let the coach include him if he is fit enough to use that experience.

If experience alone is the yardstick, then let call Sammy Adgei, Polo, Abedi, Sammy Kuffour, Tony Yeboah, Razak, etc.

How about asking that your brother be selected to the coaching staff.
He does not need to man the post to contribute to his country. He can be on the technical team. I think Ghana benefit more from his technical advise from over 30 years experience playing professional sports.

Why Olele, someone who can’t stop one penalty or free kick huh? yes we need an experience people, but he should be last to consider. 2010 world cup in Sought Africa, where we had the whole Africa continent with the host nation full sport, Suley has given us a wining leed, forlan cheap free kick led us to extra time through penalties all of us shift the blame to first, Suarz, Asamoah Djan, John mensah and Adiah. Mean while Uruguay keeper was able to stop tow out of five, since Olele start keeping I have never seen him making any important save from free kick or penalty spot before. Kwarasey has show it with friendly much against brazil, Ronaldinho free kick and header he did a wonderful save which he (Ronaldinho) thought he has scored. Under 20 we won the youth world for the first time as an African continent in Egypt, because our keeper then stop some important penalty. not only strikers win a tournament or midfielders but, a good goal keeper also does, not only an experience but, also a good goal keeper who can also stop free kick and penalties when it comes, on this not Olele comes last….. please people in GHANA think well. this is my opinion and observation God bless Ghana.

He was the best player during the world cup and through him we were able to advance that far. How many people have watched the previous world cup. Kwesi Appiah should go back and watch all the matches in which Olele featured. There is no doubt in my mind that he can still do better. We need goalkeepers: Olele. Kwarasey, and may be Dauda. This is my prediction. In addition he is able to organize and reorganize the defense very well. Did you see the last few minutes when we played U.S? He anticipated and gallantly punched the ball far away after the corner kick. Please watch the footage again.
