But, Isaac Newton once said, "I can see further, it is because I stood on the shoulders of the giants." Brethren, it is not a mistake to involve the experience on your bench. Whether Appiah add him to his bench or call him for advice, means Milo's experience is helpful. We never end growing and as far as Appiah is still in the process of growing, contacting his former boss to warm his bench is not a mistake. Let all football fans know that if Appiah succeeds, we succeed as well and if he fails we also fail as football lovers

Obviously, budget was sweeter in the past (South Africa, when they were fronting with Prez Mills but were in charge of stealing/finances)than now to some handlers of the sports ministry, and GFA.

Everyone who is rejected, plus everyone who contributed in the qualifying series from Lesotho to Egypt, should be taken to Brazil as a reward for their contribution.

That means, for example, the Adomahs, the Asantes, the Atsus, the Adiyiahs, the Opares, the Jordans, the Sumailas, The Akaminkos, the Yiadoms, the Boyes, the Masahudus, all those kids that were so beaten up by GHFUO in this forum, should be shown gratitude by being taken to Brazil.

That gesture will encourage the upcoming ones to put in their best for Ghana tomorrow, that is, if they're assured that their contributions will be rewarded with "ringside" seats at tournaments for which they had laboured but, unfortunately, did not make the final 23.

We can make a little financial sacrifice for the final rejects too, can't we?

I just counted 11 players which means we should drop 11 greed officials that is where the problems comes in, Bukhard Ziese did the same thing during Senegal 92 qualifying series by taking every player called to camp to the games. GFA hatred hence he was fired and the Black Star was handed to Otto "I am willing to do anything" Pfister" and that cost us the cup.

Right after that Cup, I was one of those who advised that Milo be retained so he could use his experience to move us forward.

Even at that time, the FA could not decide on retention or rejection.
He got fed up with indecision and left.

Today, it looks like we're begging him to return.

Our lies, inconsistencies, indecisions, opaqueness and lack of resolution have now come home to roost.

My fellow Ghanaians,and lover of the game,i believe most of you on this forum knows what happened to Milo when he left Ghana,he has coach two solid countries and he failed,this tell us that,is not only about the coach,but also the players commitment.To me i believe Ghana is gifted with the game,Milo can never take the cup with Ghana,is upon time WE AFRICANS should start believing on ourselves,if Mr AA fail to take the team to the highest,he can be replace,but this time Mr AA,bringing Milo,trust me,is wrong idea,he should rather resign and allow competent person to do the job,i will be very disappointed on him

If you pick 1 then Appiah has not shown to be competent tactically and strategically therefore he needs help

If you pick 2 then all they need to do is get another Blackman to assist AA since replacing him is not an option.

If you want the BS to show up at WC to just participate then send AA without any help and hope for best like we have been doing since he took over.

His greatest mistake will be to allow his fears to rule him. Instead of crying like a baby for his former boss to come and help him, he should do the honourable thing to resign.
At least those who believe the blackman can perform on the highest stage can hold their hope in Stephen Keshie. I think this is a coach who is confident in himself and his team and he knows well what is at stake.

Has anyone ever figured out how centuries ago, the whiteman discovered the existence of some physically strong beings living several thousand of miles away, built a ship and embarked on a journey to visit them. The motive was just one. To bring them over to their fold to have these strong men and women perform the most challenging manual jobs to help build their countries and for their personal aggrandizement

Has anyone thought about how the whiteman was able to lure our kings with tobacco, salt and sugar to get them to fight among themselves and sell their own brethren into slavery?

The big question is: why wasn't it the other way round? - blackman travelling to the whiteman and bring them to Africa to work for us?

Is that how God planned it?
Are we really equal?

How many inventions have been made by whites compared to blacks?

Did the black and white start life with the same resources? on a level playing ground? with the same brain power?
Do whites have some kind of advantages over blacks in life?

I am now 18 years but I have been asking myself these questions since i was in third grade.

These may include 'kissing coach's ass', 'buying gifts for the coach' ( Are BS coaches barred from accepting gifts from the players? I would think )
'bribing', 'back biting' , 'consulting TB Joshua and the likes', 'Mallams, Kwaku Bonsam', 'evil wishes/prayers' - wishing their contenders get hurt. etc, etc.
I believe the most daunting task for AA is the selection process.
Who to call and who to axe.
It takes a coach with a lot of confidence and maturity to make such a tough decision.
THIS IS WHERE AA WISHES SOMEONE ELSE WAS MAKING THE DECISION.- my thoughts
I believe once that process is over he should be fine.
Whatever tactical decisions he made during the African championships will be just about the same decisions he will have to make at WC level.

Decisions like:
Who to start, who to come from the bench;
which player to match the opponent
When to effect a change;
What tactical advice to give players as the game is in session. etc etc.
All these types of decisions is what a coach do and it will not matter whether is is WAFU, CAN or WC.

With all that said, I believe, AA is losing sleep over the selection of the players and he wishes someone else could take that responsibility.

When an Euro-African conscientious person rise to an occasion, he believe without help he will fail, fear grippes him, he makes himself vulnerable to the same people who hinder his progress, once he seeks their help, he has already failed. Appiah! you can do this with most of the good Ghanaian soccer technicians, because we know and understand ourselves better than foreigners. If you do this the African way, you will proof a point.
