It's not about building sports facilities that's important; it's about it's maintenance. Can the deputy minister tell Ghanaians the state or conditions of our national stadia at Essipong and Tamale as it is right now? Everything is left to break down after building and commissioning. This kind of attitude must end! We must try to maintain existing sports complex rather than focus on building new ones. If we can't maintain our sports facilities or roads, why do we think of getting new ones? We must cultivate the culture of maintenance, else it is useless to attempt to build new sports or road complex.
