Fatau Dauda replies Pirates coach De Sa

Ghana goalkeeper, Fatau Dauda says his manager’s recent comment about him stems from the pressure being mounted on him (De Sa) by fans and journalists.
Roger De Sa on Monday said he has not been fielding Dauda because the former Ashgold goalkeeper is not sharp enough to man the post.
In a sharp response, the 28-year-old told Kumasi based, Angel FM that De Sa’s remarks is borne out of pressure.
“I think the coach might have said that because of the pressure the fans and journalist are putting on him to use me in his team. I see there is a lot of pressure on him and I pity him sometimes.
“He once made a similar comment about me, but he later came out to clear the air. What I like about Pirates is that the fans like me and they think there are goalkeeping problems so I need to get a starting place.
“My coach sometimes approaches me and tells me he is impressed with my dedication to training, so I know it is not performance that is making me to warm on the bench.”
Dauda is yet to play any competitive match for Orlando Pirates since joining them after the 2013 Afcon.
