Jordan Ayew should not be in the current squad of the Black Stars, period. He just has to learn how to be a team player before he comes back. He is not a striker but a midfielder because his strikes are weak and way too often off target. There is more chance for him to come back to the BS in the future but not now when we are overwhelmed with too many midfielders.

Does it mean because the team is registered in a whiteman country so it doesn't matter if even its a 6-a-side, as long as you are playing in it you qualify to play for the Black Stars?.

Without injury, Jordan is not able to compete in the first team because he cannot get rid of whoever is currently occupying that position. Simply he is not competitive enough. This is the same thing happening to Essien at Chealsea where Mikel Obi and others are doing far better than him.
With the world cup coming up, itsb only competitive first class players with regular playing positions need to be selected for the games. Mind you these games are not friendly. They are like knock-outs and you only want the best and fit players to be in them not bench warmers who cannot get into a 1st team.
Its not the team to guarantee Jordan playing time. Its for Jordan to prove himself and win the first team position. In so far as he hasn't done it, then it means he is not better than those in the first team and no manager would go for a 3rd class player over the 1st Class.
Simply Jordan is not good enough, and has it not been for his father and Prez Mahama he wouldn't even be fit to warm the Reserve bench in the Black Stars. There are better strikers in Kotoko, Hearts, AshGold than Jordan.

Soccer is not about logic where 1+1 should definitely be 2. Let me bring you down to the Ghana setting where you'll understand better. A player who's not getting first team play in Kotoko does not mean he's worse. Simply there are other players who play that position better than him. In such situation, the said player's best choice is to move to a lower team like Wa All Stars for instance where his skill can make him better than those already there so he can play competitively very often to improve. This is exactly the case of Jordan. If he keeps sitting on the bench of Marseille, he'll not improve and guess what, there'll be no world cup position for him in W/C 2014. The boy is playing smart because he has to fight for a place in our squad to Brazil.

If this is a trick to get him into the Black Stars I would suggest Stephen Appiah also signs for the Cyprus Eleven F.C to get playing time to be called into the Black Stars and see if we don't come back to Accra carrying basketfulls of goals on our head.
Rather than these useless bench-warmers playing all sorts of tricks to get into the Black Stars I would suggest Kwasi Appiah identifies some good potentials from either Kotoka, Ashgold or Hearts to fill these positions rather than getting these useless tricksters to disgrace us in Brazil.

He has had his chance. His brother Rahim is playing for Kotoka/Hearts??. Why is the father not also forcing for Rahim to join the Black Stars but its always Jordan and Ayew?
Jordan should learn to get into the Black Stars with his feet, not his mobile phone!

Tell me, if Abedi Pele was not the father of Jordan do you think he would have even gotten to play in the French Ligue. A big Nope!!

Instead of Jordan training hard and changing his style to do what is right to get a first place team he instead calls his dad on his mobile phone to meet with Presidents and lobby to have him in the national team to waste space.
Meanwhile you have hardworking and far better players who because they don't have a father called Abedi Pele would never see the inside of a Black Star dressing room.

This playing time excuse is nothing but nonesense. Don't they train 2X a day morning and evening multiply by 7days. 14 times a week , 56times a month. What more playing time are these time-wasters asking for. If you cannot prove yourself on the training pitch to be selected into the first team you are just not fit for purpose because your other colleagues are better than you.
Just like Essien. Even though his "daddy" Morhino would love to give him more playing time, because he is not fit playing him totally puts the whole team into jeopardy that is why he has lost his place in the team to others like Mikel Obi. The only place where you can guarantee your playing time is the training pitch. Otherwise they can choose to come play BA United where they would surely be guaranteed playing times 25/7days.
Going to Soucheaux is to join all the other crabs at the bottom of the bucket climbing over each other to get out of the bucket but going no where.

It is obvious that this boy is trying to improve himself in order to be selected for Brazil. This should be the ultimate show of patriotism for ones country so why all these insults?
At age 22, how many of us on this website have achieved a quarter of what this guy has done for his country? Instead of saying encouraging words for this guy we rather condemn him and call him a pensioneer. Honestly sometimes I really wonder what exactly is wrong with us as a people. I have really not been a fan of Jordan, but one thing I know is he and his brother both deserve to be on the plane to Brazil.

What encouragement? Are there not other Ghanaian players both local and international who are more qualified than him to play that position.
At age 22 a number of footballers in Ghana even without a father called Abedi Pele acheived more than Jordan has achieved both for country and for club. Go through the annals of the history of Kotoka, Hearts, RTU, ,Olympics from the Peter Lampteys, Opku Afriyies, Opoku Ntis', Seth Ampadus, Mama Acquahs, Polos, Robert Hammond, Kwasi Appiah, Razak etc At age 22 they acahieved more than Jordan has achieved without having a father called Abedi Pele based on only their competence on the field. So give us a break with "what has one achieved at 22".
Why is it that in Ghana everything has to be whom-you know from politics, contracts to football. When are we as a nation going to start looking up to competence instead of whom you know. If you are a reserve bench warmer why should they even consider you in the Black Stars when there are other more capable people.
Amongst all the players in the local league and abroad is that position only qualified for a bench warmer called Jordan.
Some of us don't have a problem if he is playing in the first team in Marseilles. But why should a bench-warmer be forced on the Black Stars. He should work hard to secure his position in Marseilles rather than running away to the land of the blind as the only one-eyed person to look for a team in relegation to play for .
This move if confirmed would secure a place in the Ghana squad to Brazil. Interesting indeed.
