There is no guarantee that Ghana will reach anywhere in this tournament. Therefore, it is waste of our limited resources to hire technical director after Coach has done all the hard and dirty work to help the team qualify.

To me,AA has done a good job to recall the one-time aggrieved players who are apparently getting on with the boys.This was evidenced in the game against both Zambia and Egypt.The major problem is the Fatau/Kwarasey factor which i think must go in favour of Kwarasey in view of his regular activities.He needs to be tried in the matches ahead of us to justify why he should be cherry-picked.The return of Vorsah, Jonathan Mensah and J.Boye is also a morale-booster. At present,we have the quality stuff to match anyone and i personally feel that,even if we need a TD,he must be a local material,the way AA himself is doing.We have renowned players like Pele,Baffoe,Razak,Joe Addo,Yaw Preko,Isaac Aquaye,C.K.Akonor etc.who can email AA and share views with him.Our boys need to be trained in making use of set pieces.Against the USA,Ghana will win a lot of set pieces due to their over-determination and it would be a good trainer who can better formulate a plan to make good use of them.Soccer fans would be happy to hear the voice of the captain on this subject-matter.

The idea of TD is tricky thing and anyone going behind that idea is like a wolf in the disguise of sheep face. The code of Self Reliance - The (Walatulization) is to be ourselves and do things in our own. Coach MRAA is our captain who is sailing us to samba land. Has he called for any help from outside nope! The only help that he had so far requested was to invited Steve former B/S capito Appiah to be among his sub adviser to boost the young lads morals when the going gets tough.

So why should I concord about the TD issue whereas there is no need to do so?

Most people who wanted Akwesi Appiah to fail are the ones who are floating this bad idea. Most politician have two speeches the winning speech and losing one. Most people in Black Management including the GFA are like the politician they have Akwesi Appiah's replacement they were praying that Ghana vs Egypt first match would have gone bad I can bet you anything if Akwesi Appiah had won that match 2 to 1 he would not have accompanied the team to Egypt.

Do you think out of the blue that this TD thing started this came after the Kumasi match when Akwesi Appiah's Black Star beat 6 to 1 and all these "against" knew that there is no way we can't make to 2014 World Cup hence this crap about TD.

The question is why did they bring in TD during the qualifying we did the same thing in 1992 changed the coach and captain who had qualified us and what is result. Our brothers in Naija took a firm decision a couple of years ago about going forward with an indigenous coach,and have not looked back. What is that some of the officials in the GFA want to accomplish by all this 'cat dance',as regards our coaching situation? And instead of top political leadership taking a firm stand about this 'circus',it has remained aloof,and allowed this 'nonsense' to persist. As a result of this indecision ,you watch and seee our Black Stars being sent packing in the preliminary stages! It is true some big persons in Ghana soccer just don't want Kwasi Appiah to receive the honour due him. That is a typical pull-him-down (phd) Ghanaian character. Such people feel uneasy to see a fellow citizen to achieve a big success hence they go to all lengths to dislodge you by playing mischief. Such people cannot stand the sight of Kwasi Appiah leading the Black Stars to Brazil- they are comfortable with a white man. They forget that if their reasoning is accepted, then by extension, we must look for a white man to be our GFA Chairman and of course we require a white cabinet, a white president etc. How ridiculous.
I consider 3 factors as critical to our success in Brazil 2014: 1. Our key players not suffering injury before the tournament; 2. We go to Brazil with a physically fit team and 3. Our authorities should not do anything to undermine the authority of coach Kwasi Appiah.

If Appiah chooses Avram, then his wish must be scrutinized before being granted. Is Avram familiar with African players. Why was he fired from Chealsea.Why is he jobless now.Is he as good as the Serbian Milo or Le Roy , the French--the masters of the 'all flair' soccer?
The technical director problem could have been solved long ago. Why bring someone to steal Appiah's thunder or cause pointless confusion. If the GFA will hire Avram then why not consider hiring Milo the Serbian. This time he will be relegated to work as a member of Appiah's technical team for a small fee.

Appiah's own choice is Tornado Appiah . But he ras not specified his duties. Moreoever Tornado actuall can play for at least 30 minutes of good soccer for the Black stars. Anyway Tornado Appiah, Sellas Tetteh , and Marcel Desailly could be the joint chiefs of the technical department. They will work harmoniously with supreme commander James Appiah. On the other hand ,CK Gyamfi will accompany the technical team and play the role of the Oracle , mediator and team manager.

There are so many black technical directors in the EPL, and the bundesliga. Kwesi Appiah will still be the Coach of the black stars. A technical director is not a coach. Evram grant might not be that good, but compare his resume to that of Kwesi Appiah's. I don't see anything wrong with getting extra pair of hands for a job. Black people are mad because of what happened in the past and the racism that goes on today but chill out guys we just wanna get out of group G. Be smart and not stubborn. Sad to see how the beautiful game of men's soccer has evolved for the worse ; how the art of creative and evasive dribbling has disappeared ; how players feign injuries; how players deliberately tug at other player's shirts and how the referee cannot call all these fouls and consequently the outcomes of many games are decided by trickery. You are worried that the Black Stars under coach Appiah with all the inconsistent play, may not stand a chance of winning any game in Brazil. This a geniune concern.

Ghana has played in two world cups before under white coaches. Ghana has not been humiliated and our style of play has been excellent even though our goal scoring has been abysmal.

This time around, the hardworking "stubborn" local guy is at the helm of affairs.He has been an assistant to the Serbian coaches. That is to say that he was trained by whites. He was also sent to England where he was attached to a whiteman coach at Mancester City for a few weeks. Thus there is a white touch to his training. So why does all these anti-white hysteria come from?

Appiah himself said he needed help and has chosen Tornado Appiah, a highly-skilled player to join the technical team in an unspecified role. The current coach has improved in a fanta-terrific manner from his disaster days during the AFCON games. The last game with Egypt has a lt of soccer fans worried because there were technical flaws , particularly when the score was 2-0 against the Black Stars. Remember we had just beaten the same Egypt 6-1 a few weeks ago. What went wrong. In solving this problem, there is a need for an excellent technical director to come and assist coach Appiah. He or she will work under the blackman Appiah and will be paid a small fee.There is nothing wrong with this. As slaves the Blacks built the USA and currently wins Olympic games and other events under the banner of the USA. Now it our turn to bring anyone irrespective of race, to Ghana if needed, to work under the African for the glory of the nation. The only problems envisaged is the person's compatibility with coach Appiah's idiosyncracies. Skin color must not be a requirement for this job. As usual ,the offer goes first to the qualified Ghanaian coaches and former players with Brains, Skill and Guts. If no Ghanaian is willing then, it behoves the GFA to hire the most qualified person under the sun, moon and stars, with the written guarantee the he works under the Ghanaian Appiah for a change.

Remember on January 22, 1966 when Osagyefuo, Kantamanto, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah , "Showboy" was inuagurating the Akosombo Dam, he said " ..the irony of it all was that this project was built with the whiteman's loan and white technical experts....'.

In time, the GFA must train Ghanaian soccer experts to fill these voids such as to decrease the reliance on foreign experts.

In my opinion Avram is not the right person and that there are others in the world including homegrown talent who may be better than him.
