Kwesi Appiah should give us a break and stop blabbing about! What's all the nonsense people spew about the US team being the most difficult match? Instead of planning ahead and thinking about how he's going to select his team, all he does is talk about USA.

Do we go into any match thinking to find it easy? He should play Black Stars with any local team and see if it would be easy.

The US players don't even know how to kick the ball, having learnt how to kick in classes. We, on the other hand, have natural talent to play, and if it isn't for discipline we would always be on top.

Finally, if he can't take the heat, he should stay clear and not weaken the teams prospects by putting fear in anyone.

Appiah should tell all news media that we are going to Brazil to bring the cup to Ghana , nothing less and nothing more. This will send fear down their spines. This is very essential. Appiah, the commander must sound the right message to the troops. What happens when Baby Jet and the rest of the troops hear that the their commander thinks the US team is the toughest. Then the will think that their chances of winning any game is zero. The players know that from the archive records, Germany and Portugal are better than the US. How many times has the US beat Ghana in the previous World Cup matches. Never! Then why does Appiah say these things? He needs large doses of self-confidence. If he puts fear in the Black Stars, they will play poorly as they did in the last battle with the Pharaohs of Egypt. It is not good to be overconfident but it is equally worse to create burdens of impossility or low expectations in the famous Black Stars.

Ghanaians are slow starters in every tournament and playing our dearest foe would be easy in the mind of our players. But psychologically revenge will be on their mind. And with the German coach, they will play a tight defensive game. Just to frustrate us and try to score at the last minute and that's a mental game. That's how the Germans beat us in South Africa.
Our players who played lax football in the dying minutes must be psyched to be alert till the referee blows the whistle.
Also our players should not expect any mercy from our other foes, referees. Till they whistle, there is no need for our boys to stop playing and caught off guard.

Let us wake up and revisit our games with Zambia and Egypt and begin to work on our ball possession among other aspects of the game and that'll be a good starting point. We can perfect our game during trials with local teams then quality friendly matches that the GFA will organize for the team. Let's have the hope and confidence that with good preparation, we'll reach higher heights.

Those victories are gone with the wind and as a new page has been opened, we should prove that we can repeat what we did in the past by defeating them again to cement a lasting legacy that if our ladies meet their national team, they will fall.

Tell your players to go and play the football they know. Complacency should not come in here because it will be a killer punch against us.

The realization of this task sail through the group stage is to correct all the technical anomalies especially the goalkeeping problem and the weak defensive set up. Coach Mayele must urgently invite as many potential defenders plying their trades all over the world including even the locals for trials and selection as he can initially to beef up the team to compete for positions with the current ones regardless of their teams or fames but on merits. Because in the world cup in Germany, when Osei Kuffuor flopped, the then local player who replaced him excelled and impressed us. What matters is team unity, cohesion and determination so Akwasi Appeah must formulate a tactical plan kill any inferiority complex and work hard to accomplish these goals and get the players to believe in themselves and I tell you emphatically that, he will surprise the whole world since we have the materials to accomplish our feat in Brazil.
