This guy was probably thinking of alternate means of transport in order to cut costs when we get to Brazil. Boats would definitely be cheaper than planes. Most probably more than 250% cheaper!

Maybe the journalist didn't hear the word "BOLTS" AND NUTS,but rather took it as "BOATS"
It wouldn't have made sense, thinking the word is "BOATS" anyway.
I don't think,the minister made that mistake.

Either Elvis Afriyie tried to be smart but was caught out by an alert parliament, or parliament is not serious with state business. An estimate being slashed down by 250% could not be seen as having been done with any integrity on the part of the proposers! If parliament believe that the ministry can be run with just GHC36 million, then the minister should be asked to explain why he had the intention to dupe the state! And the process must be implemented across board. Any minister whose estimate was higher than twice what parliament approved must must be called to answer for their corrupt intentions.

90 minus 36 is equal to 54. So out of the 90 million 54 was "slashed" off. 54 is 60% of 90 NOT 250%. One thing you guessed right though, is that Afriyie Ankrah may have over budgeted for obvious reasons. Was he being "smart" ... read full comment

What happens to the money fifa gives to countries that qualifies, if the gfa do not give accounts of monies they get from fifa, to anyone why should the government also pay for their preparation to the world cup.

Afriyie Ankra you need to project wisely. Please do not take this as your reaping period for yourself and your family. You will account for every cent you spend this time in the years to come.
