RASHmulor, Please ask Mr N to hanza this question for me.
Between now and May proximo, what does he suggest MRAA should do OR be doing.?
Study videology on Brazillian women incorporating the Azonto, Salsa or the Samba? OR Just plain video?
Right now, am studying videos in addition to watching individual cozy and significant players
in our group to see If I can pray against their survival. Haaaaa
Does that make me a good coach or man of entertainment, OOPS! did you say man of wisdom?
Its never too late embarking on a journey. It takes just one day to start and boom! you are in the middle and finishing as well.
The English would say :Time and Tide waits for no man-sika b3y3 d3n na aba?
that's JBC on stage.
Its been weeks, OOPS! close to a month ago since we returned from Cairo. MRAA is collecting fans here and there, hardly did he think the task ahead of him requires prompt 'ahosiesie' so as to overcome any eventualities.
MRAA expect players to be collectively active playing every now and then in their various clubs lest they are out of the squad.
If I may ask my dear, what are you doing to warrant your victory as you come out this group of death? Don't you feel or perspiring already for being sandwiched with these heavily laden
football nations like the GPU?
"YOO, me na me mmo wo, obi rebo wo a, na merennye wo"
Mr Osam Duodu is against MRAA's upliftment. He is rather against MRAA's success.
Why? He is only associated with CAF for his Onyame-Ama feat 19 Kojohoohoo years ago.
MRAA is forging ahead towards WC3-the ultimate.
Likewise Mr Nancy and his team of againstfo. He wants him to fail by sitting aloof so he could be run over by the school bus.
Tofeakwa!
MRAA is heading to Europe to refurbish
the known to the unknown.
Who said 'adesua nny3'?

U CANT TEACH AN OLD DOGG NEW TRICKS. AA WAS AN APPRENTICE UNDER 2 FOREIGN COACHES FOR OVER 6YRS BEFORE HE TOOK OVER.
STILL EXPERIMENTING...IF YOU THINK AA CAN LEARN N IMPROVE HIS COACHING ACUMEN IN 7MTHS TO FACE THE LIKES OF LOWE, BERTO, SCOLARI, BERTO ETC THEN U ARE A FOOL INDEED.
DEFINITION OF A TECHNICAL DIRECTOR:
to provide advice or technical assistance on footballing or other aspects that are perceived as lacking or desired by the club. This may be the case where the manager is inexperienced or
perceived as naive in a particular aspect, allowing the director to advise against potentially costly errors. This may also be the case where a club in a lesser league or lower division with
ambitions to develop further and improve their league position seeks an experienced former manager or director from a more prominent league or club in order to use their experience to further the
club. Such an example is that of Giovanni Trapattoni at Red Bull Salzburg or Sven-Göran Eriksson at Notts County, LEONARDO AT PSG, PERREIRA WITH TEAM BRASIL
Appointments in this case are often short term – for between 1/2 seasons – with the director imparting their advice and departing to another club.
A TD IS SHORT TERM CONTRACT JOB.
HW3, U GUYS ARE NOT SERIOUS. CARTOON BRAINS.
THESE EUROPEANS WILL COME WITH MANY TRICKS UNDER THEIR SLEEVE..MANY MANY TRICKS FROM SET PLAYS, ATTACK, DEFENDING, GETTING PENALTIES, GETTING FOULS, FREE KICKS ETC. DONT U WATCH EPL, EURO SOCCER,
CL? U THINK AA HAS THE BRAINS TO ANTICIPATE THESE TRICKS N OFFENSIVE TACTICS FROM THE GERMANS, PORTUGUESE N KLINSMANN? U GUYS ARE NOT SERIOUS, CARTOON BRAINS
... ...HMMM, GO N BRING IN A PERSON LIKE DESAILLY, RIJKAARD OR HIDDINK WHO ARE USED TO THESE TRICKS SO THEY CAN HELP AA. MMMCCCTTEEEWWWWW!
LOOK CRITIALLY AT AA'S PERFORMANCE? LOOK AT ZAMBIA N EGYPT.
CHECK, EGYPT DIDNT EVEN QUALIFY FOR AFCON13. ZAMBIA WERE OUSTED IN RD1. SO IF U BEAT THEM IN UR OWN GH BACKYARD, BUT FAIL TO BEAT THEM IN THEIRS. WAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT THE STRENGTH OF UR TEAM N COACH?
I WAS LISTENING TO AMPOFO ANKRAH ON A GH RADIO STATION AND HE SAID THAT BOTH DUJA AND MILO WANTED MORE HELP, TD ETC BUT GFA WERE RELUCTANT TO SUPPLY THEIR NEEDS BCOS OF MONEY.
THIS IS VERY MUCH IN LINE WITH WAT IVE BEEN SAYING ALL ALONG. GFA MAFIA WANTS TO POCKET THE FIFA CASH...LOL
IF U WANT TO WIN BIG, U MUST RISK BIG. U NEED MONEY TO MAKE MONEY. U CANT GO FISHING WITHOUT BAIT AND EXPECT TO COME HOME WITH A BIG FISH. FROM WAT I HAVE SEEN OF AA'S PERFORMANCE IN A
TOURNAMNT SITUATION LIKE AFCON13. I HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN HIS ABILITIES AS A COACH WHO CAN CONTEND FOR THE WCUP TROPHY. THEREFORE, GFA MUST SPEND THE MONEY N BRING IN A TD JUST FOR THE WCUP.
IF A WCUP WINNING COACH LIKE SCOLARI SEES THE NEED TO BRING A TD ALONG TO HELP HIM, HOW MUCH MORE AA? FOR THE RECORD, NO GH COACH QUALIFIES FOR THE TD JOB.
THE KOUFIES, AKENTENGS, ARDAYS ETC ARE ALL USELESS.
IF THEY HAD ANYTHING TO OFFER GH, WHY HAVENT WE WON A MERE AFCON TROPHY IN THE LAST 30PLUS YRS?
EVEN THE OLDIE COACHES LIKE OSAM DUODU N GYAMFI DONT QUALIFY BCOS WHEN THEY WON THE AFCON TROPHY. THE SETUP N NUMBER OF TEAMS BACK THEN WERE ONLY 8 TEAMS.
THINGS HAVE SERIOUSLY CHANGED IN TERMS OF SOCCER. SO BRING IN A FOREIGN TD LIKE RIJKAARD, DESAILLY, HIDDINK.
ZAMBIA WAS BOUNCED IN RD 1 AT AFCON 13. EGYPT DIDNT EVEN QUALIFY FOR AFCON 13. GH LOST TO BOTH COUNTRIES AWAY....U THINK THIS GH COACH CAN GO TO BRASIL N SUCCEED? LOL....
KESHIE WON AFCON 13. ASK HIM HOW HE FARED AT THE CONFED CUP. SCOLARI HAS A WCUP TROPHY. HE EVEN WENT FOR HELP. HOW MUCH MORE AA?
GFA MAFIA JUST WANTS TO LOOT N SHARE FIFA MONEY SO THEY DONT WANT TO BRING IN ANY OUTSIDERS...LOL
EGO N NATIONALISTIC EMOTIONS WONT DO US ANY GOOD....
NO GH COACH OR EX PLAYER HAS THE IQ AND ACUMEN AT THE MOMENT TO HELP AA WIN THE TROPHY IN BRASIL. NO ONE...IF WE DID, GH WOULD HVE WON THE MEDIOCRE AFCON TROPHY AT LEAST 1ONCE IN THE LAST
30SMTHING YRS. BRASIL IS GOING TO WW3 WITH 2 BAZOOKA MACHINE GUNS IN THE
LIKES OF 2 PREVIOUS WCUP TROPHY WINNING COACHES, SCOLARI N PERREIRA. AA IS LIKE A LANGALANGA COACH. HE HASNT WON ANYTHING, NOT EVEN A SINGLE AFCON TROPHY AS COACH.
INSTEAD OF GOING OUTSIDE GH TO FIND AT LEAST 1 MACHINE GUN ATTACHE UR LANGA LANGA COACH. U WANT TO TAKE LANGA LANGA TO WW3 BRASIL? DO U SEE THE CALIBRE OF TEAMS DOWN THERE?
U ARE NOT SERIOUS. GO!
TO THOSE UNDERSESTIMTING THE USA. BE VERY WARY. LOOK, EVEN MEXICO WITH A HIGH SOCCER PEDIGREE FAILED TO TOP THE CONCACAF GROUP. MEXICO ENEDED UP PLAYING A WCUP PLAYOFF INSTEAD?
THE AMERICANS HAVE BETTER, MORE EXPERIENCED PLAYERS THIS TIME AROUND, WITH A BETTER COACH IN KLINSMANN.
GH MUST PREPARE TO GO N WIN ALL 3 GROUP GAMES, PERIOD! COMPLACENCY AND INDISCIPLINE ALWAYS DOES US IN.....
FYI: BRASIL WILL USE THEIR SEXY WOMEN/DELILAH'S TO FOOL SO MANY TEAMS AND PLAYERS AT THIS WCUP. HHHMMMM.
THESE GH PLAYERS MUST BE KEPT LIKE PRISONERS IN THEIR HOTEL. NO SEX DURING THE TOURNAMNT. THEY NEED SEXUAL DISCIPLINE.
AA HAS DONE WELL TO GET US THIS FAR BUT HE NEEDS HELP. HE NEEDS BETTER CLOTHES GOING FORWARD. ALUGUNTUGUI COACHING WEI DI3333 NO NO.
HW3, WE LOST TO ZAMBIA N EGYPT AWAY. HOWEVER, EGYPT DIDNT EVEN QUALIFY TO AFCON13. ZAMBIA WAS OUSTED IN ROUND 1 AT AFCON13. THE FACT THAT WE BEAT THEM BOTH IN OUR OWN BEDROOM DOSENT
MEAN A DAM THING. I MEAN, LOOK AT HOW AA PERFORMED AT AFCON13? WOEFUL! AH, HAVE U FORGOTTEN ALREADY?
DEFENSE WINS TOURNAMNTS SO GFA MUST AT LEAST BRING IN A DEFENSIVE MINDED TECH DIRECTOR IN DESAILLY OR RIJKAARD.
WE MUST PREPARE TO GO N LIFT THE CUP. ANYTHING LESS, LIKE PREPPING FOR 2ND RD, SEMIS, QUARTER FINALS, LIKE IVE BEEN HEARING AFRIYIE ANKRAH TALK ABOUT. WILL BE UNCIVILIZED.
REACH FOR THE STARS AND IF U FAIL, U CAN AT LEAST REACH THE MOON. U CANT PREPARE FOR UR FINAL EXAM AND AIM AT GETTING A C GRADE. NO, U AIM FOR AN A GRADE.
U DONT PREP FOR THE OLYMPICS BY AIMING FOR SEMI FINAL HEAT. NO, U PREP FOR THE GOLD MEDAL BCOS U COULD MISS THE PODIUM BY 1 SEC....

Prof. Sarskadoma, I became confused whenever I heard "coaching course," "Refreshment course," "Practical course," "Attachment to European M.C team," etc. for coach MRAA. When Doya & Milo man did qualified us to 2006 and 2010 W/C respectively, did we suggested them to take any coaching course? Why then all of a sudden coach MRAA has to make a U-turn for coaching course now?
I beg your pardon Krufasah, could you define "Walatulization concept" for me if you don't mind? If we don't believe our own for leading us to Brazil, then why given him the chance for the first place to lead us. He has managed to kwalify us, why can't we wait and watch him from now on.
In fact, hiring of Technical Adviser & the coaching courses issues is troubling me too much that, I even don't know which side to abide by. Are we sure what we are suggesting for the MRAA is helpful at this crucial time for W/C preparation?
Haaa I daff.

These coaches AgyaaKoo, were imposed on us. I hope you do realise the effects and the scope of the much talked about 'the white supremacy'
Yep! they come from the outer space and descend on us just like that.
One dare not question or 'spoke inside' the validity, the authenticity
of the deal brokered that brought them to us.
"We are going to make sure we bring a coach who has a winning record, one that has a household name that our players would respect and bla bla bla. (that was from the the GFA)
In this connection, "where do we walk and say"? 'Wonam he kOka'?
That could be one of the mitigating factors that shut everybody's mouth.
Fortunately or unfortunately, the man I knew as James Akwasi Appiah and now known to me only as the MRAA Law, used to shuttle between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and the Ghana Black Stars.
By the dint of his physical compartment of nature, perhaps, an introvert of some sort was miraculously made an assistant coach of the GBS.Like the fable "Abuburo nkosua, ade3 a 3b3y3 yie no nns3e da"
as if by design or by faith, we have watched this wonderful son of the motherland grow steadily. He has arose,OOPS! arisen, what? arose, damn
demn d33m. Rose from grass to grace and now Ladies and Gentleman we meet one of our very own in the person of MR AA, aka MRAA.9caps mine) as the new captain OOPS! sorry sir. Meet the new manager, is it the coach? That makes no difference. Call him MRAA for short.
So therefore, now that a scheme, an ugly one anyway, is put forward, a Technical Director to be precised.
By the mere stimuli of an uncontrolled impulse, we have had to reject it without any reservation.
But Hon. Governor the excellency, I beg your indulgence to say and repeat that going back to school means to revamp your current status. Apart from the economic gain in every eucational upgrade, the reducation of oneself broaden your horizon. The society's attention is captured as soon as you come out from the reconstruction of your outlook. People here brand me as a professor. This makes my head double swollen. But am not a professor. What about if I were one, how wonderful my world would be as opposed to being Mr wonderful but nobody? Haaaaaa.
So you see, it is imperative, absolutely necessary that MRAA, the custodian of the new galaxy of Stars should go up there and equip himself with the tool of learning so that he would not be questionable even if he fails in his attempt of making Ghana better.
Look at this one: Nyantakyi as I know him do make mistakes in his life as the president of the GFA. It has become difficult to question some of his wrong moves.
Why, because, he is knowledgeable, a lawyer for that matter. You have got to becareful dealing with such a person.
MRAA would eventually be unquestionable if he avails himself educationally making soccer as the preference. In this regard, we would be rooting for him forever win or lose.

If Appiah is to take up a refresher course, the longest it'll take will be a month. It'll serve him better. Reviewing game tapes of our opponents is good and I guess he's reviewed a whole lot already out of which he can ask lot of questions to help him draw a very good tactical plans. What is difficult about taking the course and reviewing videos too? After all most of the things he'll learn or tapes he'll review during the course period are interwoven, so Appiah needs it to make him a much better coach. We shouldn't be deceived.

POW,
I don't think he should go for a refresher course but rather a two weeks attachment at Manchester City, Chelsea, Real or Atletico Madrid and another big team in France. After two weeks with each of these teams, he'll come away with years worth of experience. He needs to know how top European clubs prepare their players mentally for big games. Being at Chelsea and listening to Jose Mourihno prepare his team to face Arsenal next week Monday can make the difference between coming out of that group to the next round or coming home after three games. If AA was with Manuel Pelligrini when he was preparing his team to face Bayern and Arsenal, that would have been worth five years of coaching experience. Especially the half-time talk with the players when Man City were down and on the edge of losing the game.
POW, I have move my commenting on football matters to Foxsoccer.com, BBCfootball, ESPN and Bleacher Report where your input is more respected without insults and fans actually comments on the game rather than personal attacks. I still read the comments here which are not riddled with insults.

I think whilst 'attachment' is having to acquaint oneself with the practical aspect of the game, refresher course does both abi?
I would endorse the refresher course
since that might involve 70% of theoretical work the rest for other things of football related issues outside the classroom as you have rightly said.
But then these boys are professional players. They already know how to play They also know the effects of losses and wins. What they might not know is the booklong aspect of the game. Using the chalkboard and the notebooks to captivate player's attention on how to frustrate opponents on the field of play. How to make do when down with ten men. Random Positional changes. Passing to open spaces, timely anticipation in the interception of opponent passes, running to cover transitional break aways and lapses.
Penalty kicks and set pieces arrangements-how to twart opponents efforts once the ball is in the air.
Running faster to outpace your opponents when the need arise. A reverse skidding should be applied quickly when the ball is repossessed.
Effective eye contacts. The use of terminologies understood by your team mates when calling for the ball at a vantage location in the mist of play.
Challenging the referee's unpopular decision should be minimal. Player's should intermittently make eye contact with the Tech-Bench to connect/collect a feedback, perhaps the need to change strategies and formations is warranted.
These and many tricks could be learnt at the classroom.

"Elephant what pertains in the boy clubs
somewhere in the wilderness and elephant what goes on when the boys return to defend motherGhana."
By extension, these players, inevitably, would experience vast differences in training regiment as they move from coaches to coaches.
Do not lose a fact that with their respective mother clubs they are schooled into a league of its own.
When they return to national duties they enter into a tournament.
Ironically, you would agree with me that both category of play have different temperaments in what the Americans would say: "its a diiferent ball game". Yep! that goes a long way to shape or control their behaviour and general rapport for each coach as well as for each club and each nation albeit the attitude they would put up whilst with their clubs may differ when they gather around their national coach.
Do you observe the sort of spirit they invoke drumming/singing war songs amidst 'sunsumsOre nwom', seeing KPB and Kwarasey singing and dancing to syncretist music amidst clapping and all that.
I bet they couldn't do that when they converge in their club houses or locker rooms on any given match day?
In which case, it is the players that have to be blamed should they display any form of attitude, be it positive or ugly.
Nope! MRAA has not learnt his lesson well enough to warrant going it alone.
Even though he has been around the boys and these soccer mercenaries, he was just a mere passenger on the bus. His was to take the roll and tell his master to move. There was little or nothing he could do.
I would be glad if we could judge him from the time he took full possession of the bus as the main driver to the time he crossed the bother between here and Brazil and back.
Don't you see this entails a lot and he might need traffic warden who could stop him intermittently along the way to see if every passenger on the bus is ok and that, there is enough oil, OOPS! premium petrol in the tank and some in the reservoir to carry on with the journey to and back?
Truly, let us not be, OOPS! pretend like all that is well that ends well.
It is not. He himself knows its shall not be well with him and Ghana if we
let him go alone. The thing is, even though he needs help, to him, it would be improper, a great demeanor to him if he follows us on the trail. Instead, he would like us to follow him on the trail, cuz, he's the coach. The essence why the issue of TD was mooted out immediately
it showed its ugly face.
Otherwise, the idea was the best that could happen to him.

Right on!, Mr. Duodu: Kwesi Appiah has done and is still doing a great job with the Black Stars: Why can't some Ghanaian soccer enthusiasts give him the respect, and the credit that he deserves; and throw their support behind him & give him the peace of mind & the confidence that he needs to lead our team to more victories? The only coaching course any world-class coach needs is to study the opponents' strategies & come up with his team's strategies to counter them. I think Coach Appiah's winning record with the Black Stars proves that he's got the skills to see the team through the group stage at Brazil 2014. Stop panicking !!, people.
To all the armchair coaches: I say: "Get off your armchairs & get a life!!" There can only be one coach at a time: & for now it's Coach KWESI APPIAH! "BRAVO! Coach APPIAH!!, GO-BLACK STARS-GO!!"

He may not need a coaching course now but I think it will be ideal if AA keeps abreast with the latest technical developments in the game. That means watching top football games including the EPL; La Liga; and top matches in the Brazillian and Argentinian Leagues and learning new techniques which will help him and his technical team prepare the Black Stars. So far he has proved he has learnt a lot since AFCON 2013. And he can even learn a lot more in the next 6 months by monitoring top class teams in action worldwide. I believe one thing the Black Stars must do to outwit opponents is employing different strategies and techniques in the course of a match.

Rasheed, I think what you and others are talking of is a refresher course. But I believe he can gain more practical knowledge by watching top teams in action rather than theoretical lessons in the class room. Attaching him to a top club for sometime is also a good alternative. Among other things it will keep him busy and active. The GFA must even consider allowing him to work behind the scenes for the local Black Stars during the next year's CHAN tournament in South Africa.

It appears that of all the teams going to Brazil it is only the Ghana coach who is thought of as needing to attend a "coaching course". The sad thing is nobody suggested Ratomir Djukovic and Milovan Rajevac attend a coaching course soon after qualifying the Black Stars to the 2006 and 2010 WCs respectively. Why is that Rasheed?

Rasheed, it appears you are once again playing with words. Certainly you don't get results with certificates. Yes, the Stars faced an uphill struggle in our last match against Egypt. But it wasn't that bad. In fact we played well until their freaky first goal. Whilst the Egyptians were buoyed up by the goal the Black Stars appeared to have lost momentum. Remember we could have taken the lead before the Egyptians scored with Majid Warris missing the post by inches in the 5th minute. Anyway we improved considerably in the second half. By the way it is nice that for once you want Appiah to succeed because he is "one of us".

I see no difference in attachment or a refresher. Either way, Appiah becoming one of the finest coaches ever is our goal. I've supported him and will continually back him to chalk very good success. Wisdom they say is a defence but knowledge is power. The more you know the better and more powerful you are. I never liked the Rajevic one goal plan but I stood behind him. You can back my comments here to 2008 and you'll see. Though I never recommend he takes any course because he wasn't ours but for Appiah, he's our trump card to help Ghanaians believing in our local coaches so we have to pull out every string to prove a point. It is not to dis him or whatever but from a very good point.

I totally disagree with Coach Osam Duodu. My suggestion is not ask Coach Kwasi Appiah to go for a full course; there stages. He needs short courses as there're many football coaching clinics out there in Europe and Brazil. We have 6 months for him to prepare and quickly get abreast with latest technical trends in the game. For anyone esp. some of our old coaches and football fanatics who think everything is okay, once we've qualified for the WC is making a big mistake. The game keeps evolving and it's imperative that we help our Hon. Coach to be on top of his game.
From now until March, our coach could take the opportunity to acquire the most up-to-date 'info' or technical materials to help him plot or map out a winning strategy. Coach Kwasi is a smart guy and can quickly digest every latest 'info' or techniques out there once he's exposed to it. We cannot afford to go to the WC without making any mark as a result of obsolete tactics. We'll get hammered Brazil, Spain and the like. For those who think USA is going to be easy, as many Ghanaians seem to believe, must think again. Coach Jorgen Klinsmann isn't Coach Bradley.
I hope our Sports Minister and GFA Boss Kwasi Nyantakyi will stand up strong and help our coach to prepare well. So far the notion being harboured by many is that by asking our coach to upgrade means he's being degraded. No, that's absolutely false!
Coach Appiah is all we have; he's our own and if better give him all the push to succeed and we'll all share in the honour and glory that he'll bring our dear nation. We have the talents and we shouldn't make a mistake by assuming the WC is equal to our local league in terms of standard and technique. I'd want to take this moment to ask all those "nay-sayers" esp. Coach Osam Duodu, who was Coach C.K. Gyamfi's assist when we won the 1982 Africa Cup of Nations to think twice. We're not aiming to go to the tournament to just cause upsets, but to aim to make history by winning the cup. With proper planning and support for our coaches and the Black Stars, we can win the cup. May God bless our Homeland Ghana. Amen!

Coach Akwasi Appiah's time to prepare the Black Stars is too late for a coach taining course. It would have been good for him and Ghana as a whole if there is an ample time
Having been assistant coach to the former coach is enough on the job training
What he now need is a lot of faith and the prayers of every Ghanaian to turn every mountain to a level ground
Luckily the God that we have is a God who can change every situation when we
pray.If the story of Elijah is true then it can be true for Coach Akwasi Appiah and his Black Stars. All the baal gods could not stand the God of Elijah
One may ask but many of the nations worship God.Yes they do but the stronger your faith the taller you become.God honours faith not people and God will bye pass every nation and come to Coach James Akwasi Appiah and his Black Stars aid Are not the ants that conquer the elepant? Let us believe like Joshuah and Caleb and not like the other eight spies in the Bible
You and me believe that the Bible is true but sometimes we behave like the Bible is true for only the Israelite
God made me and he is very much concern about me just like any other person.Because of you and me God left aall His glory and honour to beborn in manger. The Asantehene Otumfour Opoku Ware left his palace and visited the Black Stars to inspired the Black Stars and that yielded a 6-1 win for us.The visit of the King of Kings through faith will bring the cup to Jubelee House.Stuborn Faith Crazy Faith I impart to Coach Akwasi Appiah in Jesus Name
Now since bodily exercise profiteth little i ask that Mr Akwasi Appiah and the GFA should send spies to watch possible prayers that will make up teams of the nations we will face.
Knowing these players and their skills will help us to contain them.We must make a thorough study of them
WHATEVER GHANAIANS WILL SAY WITH THEIR HEART MIND AND MOUTH WILL I GIVE TO THEM.
