Ivory Coast on 2010 get rid of their coach who had qualified them and brought in Sven Goran Eriksson thinking big name coach would win games for them look what happened to them. Whoever came up with Tech Director's idea was stupid and self serve that person was looking for way to make money off Akwesi Appiah's success.

I seriously wish even a tenth of Ghanaians were able to see things from your point of view.Half of our problems will vanish the moment Ghanaians figure out that no foreigner is going to come and develop our nation for us and then get back on the next flight back to his country.Unless we intend to give up our freedom then I suggest we roll up our sleeves and get to work.It is not going to be easy or pretty but that million mile journey will begin with that first step.

Look at European soccer, Italian soccer,and Germany soccer the blacks in there are making progressive impact to their various teams and to the soccer game but ironically most of these black players players were trained initially by their local coaches before getting to that pedigree of the game. In this regard I think local coaches are equally good as foreign coaches or even better. James (Ghana) Stephen (Nigeria)more grease to your elbows you've really made African coaches proud. Go out there in 2014 world cup to prove Africans in particular and the world in general wrong to ignite the words of our first president Dr. Nkrumah saying "Africans are capable of managing their own affairs"

I could not have agreed with the former Black Star defence man. As he rightly said, Akwasi Appiah and his assistant should be properly paid and also motivated. If Akwasi Appiah has been able to qualify the senior team for the world cup then he deserves the nation`s support and encouragement. The same should go for his assistant and the entire playing body of the senior national team. They should be encouraged, motivated and challenged to prepare seriously for the world cup next year.
Listen folks no stone should be left unturned because this is the opportunity at hand and must be seized. You guys should not let it slip out of your hands for you never
know.

If money is AA motivation then the good lord help us... He should be happy he is the coach even though he lacks technical knowledge of the game. You need to have the ability to think
