On the Ghana bench, only Kwesi Appiah has participated in 3 Afcons averaging a game per the 3 tournaments. Maxwell Konadu, Saban Q uaye & Nasamu Yakubu have even not played for the senior national team before in a competitive tournament yet Kwensi Nyantakyi schemed to pack our bench with them. For instance in order not to make it obvious Kwesi Nyantakyi, in an arrangement with Kotoko, sneaked Konadu to Kotoko from his club Wa All Stars. Then later Maxwell was without reluctance given to the Blackstars by Kotoko and in the final analysis Kotoko received undue praise for putting nation first.
Nyantakyi & co have consistently snubbed desaily.

I respect Desailly very much but I think the way he has started talking isn't the right way. In the first place he should understand that soccer honours are never won by good coaches alone but also, and more importantly, skillful players. So if West Africa has been dominating African football it isn't because we've always had the best coaches but rather the best talents. The same applies to Brasil dominating world football instead of the U.S., Japan, Russia and the rest.

And he should bear in mind that unlike club football he's not going to Nairobi with talents from anywhere else other than Kenya.
