Why Turkey come on people there is war going on near by in Syria which is always crossing into Turkey may be they want the players to understand what gun noise so they would know what do when they hear one.

Are you guys idiots?? You should travel more. Turkey is 10 times wealthier and as stable as Ghana and close to Egypt. Egypt with its turmoil is still wealthier than Ghana.

You are full of it we are not talking about wealth here we are talking about safety. "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?"

I WAS JUST IN ISTANBUL AND I KNOW THERE IS VERY NORMAL FOR BS CAMPING. BESIDES MAKES SENSE TO GO FROM ISLAMIC COUNTRY TO ISLAMIC COUNTRY. TURKEY IS MORE SIMILAR TO EGYPT THAN ETHIOPIA!!

  • johnny 12 years ago

I did not like the idea of camping in Ethiopia, being so close to Egypt but why Turkey? Why don't they stay in Ghana and fly into Egypt the day before the game?

Turkey is no haven of peace. In fact, it is a treacherous perdition, a trouble area, and hotspot of violence. I don't know why the Black Stars prefer to train in Turkey than in Ghana.

  • Nyansasem 12 years ago

GFA is doing exceptionally well. Consideration of flight time to Cairo I believe was taken into account before choosing Turkey. It is about a little over 2 hrs flight from Istanbul or Ankara. While Morocco, the best place for ...

When did Yaw Ampofo Ankrah become Elvis Ankrah's Special aide? You should have added or stated rather that he was the sports minister's brother. Munchendi politics. No wonder Ghana's economy is in it's current state.

hey folks let's stop talking about the venue change because it does not matter. Wherever the game is played, these crazy arabs are still capable of sending their suicide bombers to cause mayham, let's pray for the best.
