If he keeps scoring for Ghana, why would you even need him in a "top league"?
Would a "top league" give you any money because he plays there?
What warped reasoning!

ASAMOAH MADE THE BEST DECISION BY STAYING WITH HIS CURRENT CLUB BECAUSE, HIS RACIST COACH WANTED TO RUIN HIS CAREER BY NOT FIELDING HIM REGULARLY. BESIDES WHEN AN AFRICAN GOES OUT THERE TO PLAY IN THE EUROPE, THE ASIA AND THE AMERICAS MONEY SHOULD BE THEIR SOLE CONSIDERATION WHEN YOU HAVE TO MAKE A CHOICE BETWEEN TWO TEAMS. BECAUSE THE MOMENT YOU TWIST YOUR KNEE YOUR CAREER ENDS AND, YOUR COACH WOULD NOT LIKE TO SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN, LET ALONE PAY

There is a certain Tony Yeboah who played in the Bundesliga for Frankfurt and was top scorer for two consecutive years 1993 and 1994. That is a huge achievement!!! There were no blacks or Africans playing for German teams at the time. He suffered serious racial abuse worse than what blacks are suffering in Italy and Russia (monkey chants etc) He signed for Leeds United in 1995, and guess what he was voted as the first non-British Player Of the year in 1996. Watch some of Yeboah's goals on Youtube...absolute screamers. Yeboah is one of the greatest strikers the world has ever seen. Yeboah would have CONTINUED to flourished had it not been for the 'politics' of a few managers he played for.
So Gyan is doing well but Yeboah has set the standard!!!

Man,
I'm sorry but you are wrong. How many goals did that Tony Yeboah score for Ghana? Check the records: Asamoah Gyan is the all time highest scorer for Ghana. You are only just buying into the hype on European football.

Great stuff, I said earlier before the Egypt clash in Kumasi that if he is in his best form he will score 3 goals in the first half and before the end of that crucial game he scored two if the first 20 seconds miss was on target the hatrick would have been achieved as predicted at least. I believe he ll score again in the return game because Ghana,s super midfield with the likes of KOJO Asamoah, dede ayew, Essiene and Sulley Muntari will provide him with the necessary tools to carry out his goal scoring spree both in the return game in EGYPT and the World cup as a whole well done man. Keep on scoring.

Ahly win penalty shootout to reach Champions League final
Al-Ahly are on course to defend their African Champions League crown after they beat Cameroon's Coton Sport in a penalty shootout to reach the final.
The Cairo club won the spot-kick contest 7-6 in the Red Sea resort El-Gouna after the second leg of their semifinal ended in a 1-1 draw.
A similar score in the first leg meant the two clubs ended 2-2 on aggregate.
Ahly will meet Orlando Pirates of South Africa in the two-legged final next month.
Abdullah Al Saied scored after three minutes to give the Egyptian club the perfect start, leaping above two defenders to head home a sweeping cross from Sayed Moawad in one of the first attacks of the game.
Ahly, who rested three internationals involved in Egypt's 6-1 loss to Ghana in Tuesday's World Cup qualifying play-off, had several chances to extend the lead in the opening half-hour but Coton Sport got a well-deserved equaliser in the 65th minute.
A sweeping move down the left ended with a cross that allowed Alexis Yougouda to score his seventh goal of the campaign, sliding home the ball from close range.
In the shootout, Mohamed Aboutrika missed the first kick for Ahly but his team mates scored from the next seven. The decisive miss came from Jacques Haman.
The match was played behind closed doors because of a spectator ban for Ahly following recent crowd violence. Their coach Mohamed Youssef was also banished to the stands after being sent off during the first leg in Garoua two weeks ago.
Ahly have won seven previous Champions League titles, making them African football's most successful club.
