Hmmmmmm, I'm very sorry for the GBStars, because the mysteries of the GREAT PYRAMIDS still remained UNKNOWN. However, when it comes to the 'SUPREMACY' between a CLOUD AND THE STARS, your guess is as good as mine. The die has been cast and I could see the "Egyptians Pharaohs" with their 'ABRACADABRA MAGIC' eclipsing the Ghana Black Stars with their "EGYPTIAN CLOUD." What a piece of phenomenon event to watch. That is a wonderful food for thought. No insult please.

To hell with them. We need to think ahead and send our our own team ahead.

Mr.N,
I don't believe the Egyptian Football Association and don't trust FIFA. Why was the Egyptian Stadiums/stadia closed for spectators? Since the closure, no Egyptian team, national or local, have played a game with spectators. Ghana playing the return leg will be the first time spectators will be allowed to witness a live game and can anyone imagine Egypt losing the tie. My thoughts exactly! If the EFA can't provide about 500 police and military personnel inside the stadium, Ghana should refuse to play. Their country is already in turmoil, so it makes no different to them if they cause trouble or not.
The other bigger problem is the Islamist faction that will try to use the game to get notoriety by, God forbid, blowing up something near or inside the stadium. These are all big worries Ghanaians are concerned about. These unreasonable mostly uneducated fools don't care blowing up the whole stadium for some stupid and myopic reasons, my biggest worry.
To make it worse, we have a Moroccan referee for the game. It looks like FIFA/CAF don't want to see Ghana in Brazil 2014. Why will a North African referee be selected to take charge of Ghana v Egypt game? Is like selecting a Ghanaian or Nigerian referee for a game where the other country is involved. I don't see fairness in the referee handling of this game. Ghana should have protested the referee choice that was given us.

Oh come on FIFA!! just move this game to a new venue already....Why the hell will you schedule a game in a country that is in political turmoil and no one seems to be in charge. I really don't give a damn about the outcome of the game. The best team will always win regardless of whether its played in front of a million home fans or an empty stadium. On the flipside, I am REALLY CONCERNED about the safety of the players, officials, and even Ghanaians/West Africans living in Egypt, especially if Ghana should win in Egypt--which btw is possible. The current situation in Egypt is too fertile a ground and too strong an impetus for a potential attack, particularly given recent events in Kenya and Nigeria. Please FIFA move this game elsewhere, please.

We need to pressurise FIFA to move the match from Cairo. Some of these Islamic fundamentalists might even be among the security forces who are going to provide security at the Air Defence Stadium and they can be bribed to plant explosives on our bus. They always want to draw attention to their demands so a high profile team like the Black Stars can be a target indeed. We have to be proactive not retroactive and act decisively.

This is a simple issue. Black stars have to beat Egypt by at least 4 unanswered goals and then abandon the return leg if it's to be played in Cairo. FIFA will give Egypt 3 points and 3 goals which will still not be enough to qualify. So I say blackstars and the fans should arise and create a daunting atmosphere for the Egyptians. 2 goals in the first half and 2 in the second will do.

Ghana should not rush in requesting fifa to change the cairo venue while the first leg in kumasi has not been played...fifa can make a venue change decision even a day or two to the match day...if violence breaks out in cairo a day before the game and 50 people are killed like what happened recently, fifa would have to change the venue or cancel the game and reschedule it and so ghana should not jump the gun in requesting for venue change now.

JUST LOOK AT THE EGYPTIANS, AND YOU'LL KNOW WHY FIFA PREFERS THEM TO REPRESENT AFRICA TO PROJECT A DECENT IMAGE OF AFRICANS.
ANYWAY, EGYPT, BY THEIR AFRICAN FOOTBALL RECORDS, ARE THE BEST TO REPRESENT AFRICA BECAUSE THEY'LL NOT KOWTOW TO THE WHITE PLAYERS.
ARABS DO NOT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT WHITE PEOPLE, BELIEVING THAT WHATEVER THE WHITE MAN CAN DO, THEY CAN DO IT EVEN BETTER.

I am of the opinion if CAF avoided Cairo for the draws of the play offs Ghana should avoid EGYPT entirely for the 2nd leg. Prof KOFI AWONOR has been wasted no more of that. if we dont go to Brazil nothing will happen so that is my food for taught.
