This is a formidable list!! The teams are all TOUGH!!
Maybe if we get Cape Verde then MAYBE it will be easier for us..... if not, then maybe Ethopia.

If you want to know more about the Ethiopians, then go and ask the Naija boyz, how it feels to play against Ethiopia. You can also check our last game against Cape Verde and you will realise we need that extra mile again to beat them so please don't come and make wishes here, since non of the qualified teams is cheap here. They've all come a long way. Remember they were all first in their respective pre-groups. Show some respect!!

Having said that, I am confident that on our day, we can take on any team in the list and beat them. When the likes of Essien were not available, we had some limitations. With Essie, Andre Ayew, Prince Boateng back, we can take any of those teams on. I am not being overconfident, I am being realistic here. Bring them on

Guys, I think the pairing will be done based on the latest FIFA ranking coming Thursday the 12th of September, which means the top 5 teams will be seeded so will avoid each other. The August ranking has the following top 5 in Africa: 1.Ivory Coast(18), 2.Ghana (24), 3.Algeria (34), 4.Nigeria (35), 5.Cape Verde (36). Should Thursday ranking remain mainly the same then Ghana avoids Ivory Coast, Algeria, Nigeria & Cape Verde but will then play Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Egypt, Ethiopia or Senegal. This ofcource will be known exactly a week today = 16th sept!

We are now strong enough, has the strength in debts and experienced both technically and otherwise to qualify without too much of a fuss. I honestly believe that.

None of these teams are easy..... I would rather prefer we play Senegal or even Egypt and Cameroun than Ethiopia and Burkina Faso.

This final face of determining who qualifies to Brazil is really a joke, and CAF should take notice that it may not achieved the attended result. I have been analyzing this concept for awhile and I have come to decision that not only will this be detrimental to African representation to the WC, but unhealthy for future WC competition. Issue # 1. We are going to see some countries playing defensive football to take the game to penalties for any chance of qualification. Issue # 2. Further to issue number one, we may see weaker countries qualifying and representing Africa. The games are not going to be fluid.
