In 2012 they beat us one nil in South Africa (CAN 2012); they again beat us one nil in the first leg of this world cup qualifier in Zambia. Anyone who dismisses their threat does not understand the game. The fact that they could not beat little Lesotho at home will not mean much if they prepare well for us.
The only way to overcome them is to also prepare well. On paper, our team is better but if, just like in the first leg, we fail to prepare well, we shall be shocked. With Asamoah Gyan current outstanding form and KPB joining the fray, the Black Stars have the potential to overcome any threat. What is required now is singleness of purpose for the GFA and the players. I don't know if Dede has also written his letter because his addition will fortify the team further.
In effect, please don't dismiss the Zambian threat; let us rather prepare well for them.
