Means playing a strong team like Brazil, Spain or Argentina is superfluous.

With the playoff and the WC at the corner, we consistently and deliberately need to engage/vie with sparring partners only.
Did you say we might have to bite more than we can chew to get acquainted with modern trends of the game?
I don't think so. If I had my own way, I would not pitch the boys with or against any side, be them strong or stronger.
I would rather take my boys to a secluded area far from any form of distractions, teach cohesion, formations and strategies.

I have come to realize that, one cannot teach the actual art of playing football. One teacher once said, a coach can only detect or develop a talent but cannot, or might not be able to teach skills.
Do you dare him?

The best a coach can come close to teaching skills is delving into cohesion and strategy.
Can we accept this ambiguous theory from this teacher in question?

Alluding to the above, you will bear with me that, these players, ninety present of the time are with their mother-clubs playing active soccer in the professional sense of the game. Most of them are drilled by top notch coaches and physical trainers, not to talk about the cozy facilities they dabble with every given season.

There is little or not much a coach can do for both impart and impact within that short FIFA allotted period given before tournaments.

It would therefore be sensible, quite feasible and convenient for national coaches to acquire more technical know-hows by creating different forms of strategies known to the unknown.

SO THE 10% LEFT FOR NATIONAL COACHES IS WHAT MAKES OR BREAKS NATIONAL TEAMS. The players are supposed to be FIT when they are called for national assignments. A great coach has to design the best strategies and tactics for each match in order to win. National coaches must have CREATIVE IDEAS in order to beat 'seemingly' powerful teams. Any team can be beaten by exploiting its weaknesses. A great coach knows the strengths and weaknesses of his own team and that of the opposing team. A good coach is able to clarify his vision and motivate his players to execute the game plan for victory. I respect Brazil but with the right recipe Ghana can beat Brazil sooner or later.

Once these players are with their mother-clubs, it is believed, OOPS! presumed they have enrolled for their masters programme. They come back to play for Ghana as interns ready to defend their professorship thesis. Haa

I said it one time, that the criterion for donning the Ghana colours must be to play professionally abroad.
Doing so, the local players would strive hard to break through going through the same treadmill.

By virtue of the preparation/intensive regiment meted out to these 'abroad boy' any national coach would insist on picking up players who play consistently and would want to discard benchwarmers.
Having said that, you would agree with me why players who face such dilemma always want to be traded and move on.

Mike Essien for instance, was ill-advised on shelving his playing time with the GBS with the flimsy excuse that he wanted to regain his position in his club after the injury that sidelined his production.

Don't you think, Essien would have shone brightly playing for Ghana consistently, especially during the AFCON and the free scoring period over Sudan and Lesotho after his come back would have gingered Chelsea managers to hold him down for his regular playing time?

He got inactive,timid and lazy. He is currently shrouded with fear he could get hurt again.
A warning a fake Osofo had revealed to him. Probably why he is shunning away from international duties.

Concerning local players, I think the very good ones are often hungrier and fully committed when they are invited to play for the Black Stars. Some of the international players are not fully committed, or fully motivated to play their hearts out. There are reasons why the players are not motivated. Ghana's problem is not with the pedigree of players we have but rather with leadership and organization. Great leadership is like salesmanship. The leaders must be able to sell their product no matter the circumstances. In this case the 'product' is knowledge/strategy/tactics applied to win games.

We want to watch our team play Brazil in Ghana and it must be televised life. Not every body can go to the stadium to watch or have the money.
