Hello Everyone, Embassies exists in a country to learn about the people and how they can be trusted in all deals. They are not just in a country to issue visas. They learn, read and research everything about the said country. Let's take the Black Dragons for instance. How often did they compete among themselves, with other African Nations in and out of Ghana and how often are these activities reported in the dailies or on TV.
Do they have a website where people can go and read about this so called Dragons?
Let's get things right. You cannot just gather hundreds of fishermen, take a couple of group pictures and introduce yourselves as a genuine group with the experience of competing on the world stage.Any international experience? What kind of sporting gears do they have or use? The world is a small place now where people who intend to know, have all the resources to know about whatever they want to know. The Embassy in question probably knows more about this group more than they even know about themselves, so don't you take things for granted.
And now to the letter heads of the President, the Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration or whatever flying all over the embassy. Is the President even aware that a letter was issued to the embassy with his letter head? Is the Minister of Foreign Affairs even aware of such a group existing in Ghana? You see how we tend to disgrace ourselves and make of non-effect all these otherwise important documents?Once you let the world know that everything in your country can be bought through corruption, these are some of the unfortunate things you should expect.
Also know that embassies are not there to grant visas to every applicant.
Now, if you were charged some fees and promised a visa to go to the event as a participant or as an official, you now have the right to go back and ask for your money back.
If the money-collectors should refuse to give you your money back, please go and talk things over with ex Attorney General, Amidu. He is ever-ready to bring things to light for a better Ghana. Praise the Lord.

Can you guarantee their return to Ghana after the tournament? Are you not thieves, greedy and corrupt leaders, you could have used the huge amount invested in this dubious deal to create jobs for these poor people!

Next time do your homework well before you try to play your illiterate smartness on any western embassy. For we and the whole world know you by your deeds.

Why should the Dutch embassy believe our criminal corrupt and "STEALER" ministers and officials? The whole thing is a facade. These poor folks should go back for their bribes the paid to these officials. The truth will come out very soon.

Beloved, Embassies exists in a country to learn about the people and how they can be trusted in all deals. They are not just in a country to issue visas. They learn, read and research everything about the said country. Let's take the Black Dragons for instance. How often did they compete among themselves, with other African Nations in and out of Ghana and how often are these activities reported in the dailies or on TV.
Do they have a website where people can go and read about this so called Dragons?
Let's get things right. You cannot just gather hundreds of fishermen, take a couple of group pictures and introduce yourselves as a genuine group with the experience of competing on the world stage.Any international experience? What kind of sporting gears do they have or use? The world is a small place now where people who intend to know, have all the resources to know about whatever they want to know. The Embassy in question probably knows more about this group more than they even know about themselves, so don't you take things for granted.
And now to the letter heads of the President, the Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration or whatever flying all over the embassy. Is the President even aware that a letter was issued to the embassy with his letter head? Is the Minister of Foreign Affairs even aware of such a group existing in Ghana? You see how we tend to disgrace ourselves and make of non-effect all these otherwise important documents?Once you let the world know that everything in your country can be bought through corruption, these are some of the unfortunate things you should expect.
Also know that embassies are not there to grant visas to every applicant.
Now, if you were charged some fees and promised a visa to go to the event as a participant or as an official, you now have the right to go back and ask for your money back.
If the money-collectors should refuse to give you your money back, please go and talk things over with ex Attorney General, Amidu. He is ever-ready to bring things to light for a better Ghana. Praise the Lord.

Those in authority who think they can make money out of everything should please refund those money now. It sounds like someone wants to make money and has put a few people together, formed a very loose association and now is going to sweat. Were these people charged some monies? Who was on the trip with them?

According to the article, the Black Dragons were denied visa by the Netherlands Embassy to participate in the 11th World Nations Championships in Hungary because the ages of the crew members. A look at the website of the International Dragon Boat Federation (www.idbf.org) guidelines on crews, doesn’t list age as a requirement for participation. There’s more to the visa denial than the Ghana Rafting and Dragon Boat Association (GRDBA) is leading Ghanaians to believe. They should come clean and state the main reasons for the crew members being denied their visas. Did the GRDBA honestly submit a list of legitimate competitors as part of the crew? The GRDBA cannot claim racism, because Senegal is competing in the championships.
