Odjer impresses Man United scouts

Ghana midfielder Moses Odjer could find himself in the Manchester United Youth Team following his impressive performance for the Black Satellites in the ongoing Fifa Under-20 World Cup in Turkey.

The 16-year-old has been a revelation in the midfield of Ghana pulling the strings, and his impeccable performance on Sunday in the quarter-finals has caught the eyes of scouts of the English champions.

“Scouts of Manchester United were very impressed with Odjer in yesterday's [Sunday] game and they are really eager to get him for the Manchester United Youth team. They are ready to hold talks with him and his people after Wednesday’s game,” a source close to the player exclusively hinted Goal Ghana.

“I was with one of their scouts at the stands and he could not stop admiring that non-drop volley Odjer scored against Chile after controlling the ball on his chest.”

Media reports have also linked the talented midfielder to French side Stade de Rennes and Chievo Verona while Benfica and Porto are also tracking him.
