I watched the game last Sunday and was very impressed with Moses' input, especially the goal he scored. He will definitely go places, and may the Good Lord be his guard and guidance.
Thanks for the space.

With Sir Alex still in the mix at United, it's not too clear for me to believe signing an African is on the Table. In the EPL, January is an important period in the Premiership. With some teams LOSING their AFRICAN stars to their respective nations, usually, around that time, United in particular have 'distanced' themselves from signing African stars. Check the records.

Anybody watching this boy for the first time will know he is a football prodigy. And if anyone had any doubts, the goal he scored yesterday will shred those doubts into pieces. The way he calmly composed himself; chested the ball and then confidently unleashed a half-volley into the net was absolutely brilliant. It makes it difficult to believe he is even yet to turn 17. No wonder Ryan Giggs (Man U's scout at the tournament) has recommended him. In fact Odjer is not the only one catching the eye. Frank Acheampong and play-maker Ampomah have also demonstrated they have got great football brains. And not forgetting of course Kennedy Ashia; Ebenezer Assifuah and Seidu Salifu. In other words, the midfield and attackers are full of talents. It is the defence which needs to tightened. If we are able to do that, then I have great faith the above mentioned talents will deliver the goals to ensure the cup makes it way back to Africa. May The Lord Almighty continue to give them the strength and resources to lift the cup.

Mr N that statement you are referring to was meant to underline the prodigal talent of the lad. I have seen top players panic or not knowing what to do when in similar or in even more inviting situations than when the Acheampong's lofty pass got to him. I do not for once doubt his age. But the manner in which he was able to execute the finishing with that goal, was akin to a matured player with more experience in playing top football. Mind you MRS testing only came into play in recent times. In 1989 they were never thought of let alone used.

Kenneth I understand you perfectly I am just questioning and asking aloud how our players would do so well in the youth tournament such as this and fade away in no time, hence saying the "key factor" here is his age. Players like Lamptey and Adiyiah comes to mind. Everyone who watched Lamptey during Scotland 89 include "Pele" said he was destiny for great things so was Adiyiah and both did not live up to it unlike players like Lionel Messi and Co have been able to live up to it.

The media, I must say, contributes to our talented young players getting themselves into what I call "Early Lock ups!" Why? When no approaches are made, they somehow formulate stories and when these guys are not ready, they entice them with these fabricated stories only to be made "useless" like Awudu Issaka, Gargo, and the likes who could have been among the best in the world by now. Please, for Heaven's sake, allow these guys to mature into "manhood" to earn good teams and of course ample playing times. God bless mother Ghana.

Odjer can truly be sixteen and phenomenal. Please stop these negativities and petty jealousies. This U-20 Ghana team is special and all of us must remember that they do not look any older than the other teams in the competition. Also Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and bone density tests have confirmed their ages, so what are your problems, all you Thomases and Iagos?
