NYANTAKYI WHY SO GREEDY?
WE NEED MORE FIFA FRIENDLY GAMES IN GH. AT LEAST 1 FRIENDLY EVERY 3 MTHS OR SMTHING TO THAT EFFECT. THIS WILL BOOST ECONOMIC BUSINESS AND CREATE MORE INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT.
EACH REGION MUST HAVE A WORLD CLASS STADIUM WITH TRACK FIELD. I THINK THE MIN OF SPORTS N THE PRESIDENT SHOULD FORCE THIS GUY TO HOST MORE FRIENDLY GAMES IN GH.
INSTEAD OF TAKING ALL THAT BU$INESS OVERSEAS TO FATTEN HIS PERSONAL BANK ACCT.
INFACT, GFA MUST DECREE THAT ALL PLAYERS BE FORCED TO PLAY 3/4 YRS IN THE LOCAL LEAGUE BEFORE THEY R ELIGIBLE FOR SALE OUTSIDE GH.
THIS WILL HELP TO KEEP GOOD TALENT AT HOME N MAKE OUR LEAGUE MORE COMPETITIVE. OTHERWISE, ALL OUR BEST PLAYERS WILL LEAVE FOR FOREIGN AFRICAN NATIONS UNDER THE PRETEXT OF MONEY. THIS WILL AFFECT THE COMPETITIVE LEVEL OF OUR LOCAL CLUBS ON THE CONTINENT. EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED. CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME.

Do nothing. Football player are not the only people leaving for greener pastures. People from all walks of life and from all professions are leaving. There are thousands of Ghanaians who were trained with the Ghanaians tax payers' money only to fly off to other countries. Nothing has been done about it and it continues to plague us. What makes it different for a young footballer who already has the skill and talent with no Government help? Many receive several thousands of dollars weekly which they use to support a large extended family. To make things short, let them go and play outside. Do not be selfish Gariba.

Gariba, please you have good intensions towards the beauty of the game which is well said.If these players stay as you want it to be,it to be like had I known to them.who would not want to live on his home and be comforted?I read last week that a former player is stroked and not even GFA knows it.if they want to stay as you wish, their lives would be most miserable.have you forgotten Ali Jahraa?its better they go because nobody cares about their wellbeing.just last week Gaisah quit Ghana's athletics.one paiful reason among the lot he gave was that nobody could call and asked of his injury recovery how much more paying for.its not only footballers that go.have you taken the pain to know the number of professional teachers, nurses and so who apply for the American lotteries win and go?

football administrators in Ghana are the most useless poeple killing the beauty of the league. instead they teach footballers mind set of the game, they are rather teaching them "juju"and strange beliefs.when footballers are taking into classroom at outside Ghana ,our footballers on the other hand are being taking to see this mallam or the other.if players like Essien, sammy kuffour,Muntari,s.appiah and co did not go outside Ghana, who would hear their names like today?ask such players if football is about such "juju" in foteign as we hear in Ghana.

In this age of globalization and its associated pressure to democratize, nations cannot keep its talent bottled up. Instantaneous information availability has facilitated a very fluid talent pool, free to move wherever conditions are most suitable. If Ghana can afford it, we can have the best talent working on our developmental projects if the price is right. This applies in any field of endeavor because business drives such attitudes.
Proliferation of foreign-born stars in the EPL- English Premier League, has made it very competitive and compelling business case for any player with the right talent. Some say they are draining talents of less endowed leagues, but the reverse is also true. Mediocre English talent is unacceptable in that competitive setting because the stakes are high.
Our leadership must take advantage of the exposure our players get, in order to better run our leagues. Brazil and Argentina have the same challenges, yet they have "adjusted the sails" to catch the winds of change. Hey we could be to the soccer world what India is to information technology- IT, if we are a really serious.
