when we played in zambia a lot of our players were to heavy to cope with speed, swiftness, strength and industry of the zambians. the zambians are very confident because they feel some of our players like rasheed had painfully pointed out are .......... muntari these has resorted to unnecessary long passes.

The GFA must define and inculcate into the minds of Ghanaians who qualifies as a captain of the senior national team. Many people believe that the longer you stay with the senior national team, the closer you get to the captainship band but that thinking is silly and that's why we've known no peace over the years in the team. A piece of cloth tied to one arm of one player among the lot on the field shouldn't create any confusion. Leaders are born not made. Therefore, we shouldn't choose because they came first but who has the ability to lead. I like Gyan but he's not a born leader and so is John Mensah. When John Paintsil came back I believe we all saw how he directed affairs on the field during the nations cup? He showed the quality of a leader in him even though he wasn't the captain. Both Dede and Goalkeeper Dauda have this ability I'm talking about. We shouldn't behave as if there are no dogs so we'll hunt with goats. Let's clarify this once and for all to avoid another future occurrence.
