LOOK AT THIS CURRENT CROP OF PLAYERS? THE TEAM IS WATERED DOWN LIKE KOOL AID. THE TECH PPL HVE CLAIMED BRIBES. WHY WERE ZAK ANSAH N PAPPOE LEFT OFF THE TEAM FOR DUBIOUS REASONS?.....
THE GAME AGAINST FRANCE WAS AN EYESORE. THE DEFENDERS WERE SLEEPING. I MEAN LOOK AT THE FIRST GOAL? LARTEY SHOULD HVE GONE IN THE AIR, BUT HE DREW BACK N WAS WATCHING. WEI Y3 CAPTAIN?...THE CAPTAIN WAS LOST. THE MIDFIELD SIMPLY VANISHED.
YIADOM N BABA WERE BENCHED BCOS THE TEAM HAS NO DEPTH. TETTEH WAS GOING TO RELY ON THESE 2 LATER, N IT BACKFIRED....
THE TEAM BETTER PRACTICE THEIR STRINGING 2,3(BREAK, CONTROL, PASS) TOUCH PASSES IN LESS LIGHT SITUATIONS. PUSH DUNCAN TO THE DEFENCE. WE NEED HIS HEIGHT BACK THERE.....KEEP THE OPPONENTS AWAY FROM THE 18(DANGER ZONE) N MAKE SURE THE STRIKERS TAKE THE BALL INSIDE THE 18/DANGER ZOE OF THE SPANIARDS N US. IF U FAIL TO DO THESE 3, GH WILL LOSE TO SPAIN. THE GAME AGAINST SPAIN IS WAT I CARE ABOUT RIGHT NOW. THE US ARE NOT A THREAT.....

Ghana resorted to playing long passes, which was not working. On the other hand France kept to short simple passes. I hope that in the next game we go back to our traditional short passes which allow us to slow the game down until opportunity for a speedy attack arises. It also ensures that we hold unto the ball for greater spells thus preventing the French from dominating or playing to their game plan.

I SAW A 1-1 but did not see the end... the game will be a 1-1 before some1 wins or will stay at 1-1.

Today, the main detail behind France’s 3-1 victory against Ghana at the FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey 2013 went by the name of Geoffrey Kondogbia.
“Our playing style is based around movement, one-touch passing, always looking for the man in space and trying to work the flanks,” he explained.
“That’s our footballing philosophy and, because I’ve got a very good understanding with Yaya [Sanogo], I didn’t hesitate to play the ball through to him first-time.”
COACH TETTEH LACKS ATTENTION TO DETAIL
COMPLACENCY IS OUR ENEMY!
MAKE SURE YOU TRAIN THE BOYS UNDER LESS LIGHT CONDITIONS.
IF THE PLAYERS CAN CONVERT PENALTY KICKS, FREE KICKS, CORNER CROSSES, SET PIECES, MAKING INROADS INTO THE 18 YARD BOX, CLINICAL $TRIKERS ETC IN THE DARK.
THEY WILL BE EVEN BETTER IN THEIR EXECUTION IN THE DAYLIGHT. THIS IS HOW NEGRO BASEBALL PLAYERS, BARRY BONDS, MICHAEL JORDAN, KOBE BRYANT ETC TRAIN. WHEN THE LIGHTS ARE ON,
THEY SEE MUCH CLEARER. THEY CAN EVEN HIT HOME RUNS, AND MAKE BASKETS WITH THEIR EYES CLOSED.
COACH BORBOR, TRAIN THE PLAYERS TO PLAY 2, 3 TOUCH SOCCER. BREAK, CONTROL N PASS, BREAK AND PASS...
THIS IS WHAT THE PLAYERS MUST BE DOING. HOLDING UNTO THE BALL, MORE THAN 3 TOUCHES IS DETRIMENTAL TO SUCCESS
1. BLOCK NAME LETTERS ON THE BACK OF THE JERSEYS
2. U NEED A DEDE TYPE PLAYER ON THE TEAM TO CONSTANTLY MOTIVATE AND INSPIRE THE PLAYERS
3. TRAIN THE STRIKERS, WINGERS TO INVADE THE 18 YARD BOX LIKE MAD MEN. REFRAIN FROM SHOOTING OUTSIDE THE BOX.
DRIVE THE BALL INSIDE THE BOX, DRIBBLE AND SHOOT, GET PENALTIES. LOOK AT ROBBEN. THATS ALL HE DOES. EACH TIME HE GETS THE BALL.
HE TAKES THE BALL INSIDE THE BOX. WHEN HE GETS THERE HE HAS 3 CHOICES. GET A PENALTY, PASS THE BALL OR SHOOT TO SCORE.
IF TETTEH TRAINS THE BOYS TO PLAY LIKE THIS, THEY WILL BE UNBEATABLE. THIS WAS GH'S ONLY FAULT AT THE U20 AFCON.
TRAIN THE GH DEFENDERS TO KEEP OPPOSING STRIKERS OUTSODE THE 18 YARD BOX. THAT IS THE DANGER AREA. IF YOU INVITE OPPOSING TEAMS/STRIKERS TO GET ISIDE YOUR 18 YARD BOX.
YOU ARE INVITING THEM TO SCORE. LOOK AT THE BRASILIAN DEFENDERS. THEY DONT ENTERTAIN ANYONE INSIDE THEIR 18 AT ALLLLLLL......
4. 2 SETS OF JERSEYS. 1 WITH COLLAR(away, NO NAME), 1 WITHOUT COLLAR(home)
5. PLAYERS MUST LIFT METAL. TRAIN, PRACTICE PENALTIES, FREE KICKS IN THE DARK
6. COACH TETEH MUST WEAR A SUIT WITH GFA CREST AND A TIE AT ALL TIMES. BE PROFESSIONAL

Then I am sorry the satellites are coming home and we should be ready for celebration.
Spain will play the same passing game and is our defense, ready .
Nigeria is good, because they have adopted similar style of play, while Ghana is at cross road with the 442. An outmoded system.

Mr. Opuku, he indeed got them (tactics) wrong, but he'll get them right in the next couple of games. So let's all be very hopeful.

Sellas has never impressed me as a coach and I do not need to be a coach to express that opinion. Watching the match, I wondered how two quality players in Baba Rahman and Boakye-Yiadom, who qualify to play in the senior national team, the venerable Black Stars, could be kept on the bench while the Satellites struggled to contain France. People will point at Sellas winning in 2009 but hey, we all saw how the boys, marshalled by Dede Ayew(like him or not), played their hearts out to win. I never gave Sellas the credit for winning that tournament because we all saw how faulty his team selection and the timing of his changes were. He sometimes simply looks completely lost and out of ideas. With this loss, we can just hope the boys battle their hearts out else it will be another fiasco. It may hurt but that is the simple truth.
